« Excellent base for visiting local attractions. »

Generally good, but housekeeping was patchy with some items not replaced routinely. We did not like the paper cups provided for the Nespresso Machine. Meals were fine.

the AC in the room was not working very effective. Even at maximum speed the air was not very cold, I had to open the window. Very convenient position to gare sud and bus connections. Good breakfast. Nantes is a nice city.

Perfect for the station which is adjacent. Major works at the station. But despite that, hotel was quit. Staff were friendly and attentive, comfy bed, clean room and excellent shower. Well stocked buffet breakfast with wide choice.

« Two Day Visit »

The room was well appointed, clean but too small. There was not enough room between the end of the bed and the wall. Also not much room for two bags. The glass walls on the shower did not provide enough privacy.

The hotel was very conveniently located. It was most comfortable and the staff pleasant, helpful and efficient. I had two problems in my room; the safe did not work and the washbasin drain was almost completely blocked. I reported both of these faults immediately on checking in but neither had been rectified two days later on leaving. I was offered another room, which I declined as neither of these problems were very serious. However, I did think that the basin, at least, could have been cleared quickly.

« Good Hotel chain with restaurant and very close to train station. »

Very pleasant twin room. Large window that opened. Tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast excellent and bright breakfast room. Although close to train station it only took 10/15 minutes to be in the centre of this wonderful city.

having arrived at around Midnight I was Disappointed that after my poor night due to an air-conditioning that was blowing like a hurricane and that work me (I rang at 2.30 / 3.00 am to inform reception) and kept me awake even after switching everything off including removing the card key near the door entrance that all I could get was a mere 50 € discount on a room charge of 250 € and I am a Platinum card holder !!!

Great room, bed and bathroom. Shampoo and conditionner could be a great addition. Food: few items out of stock for diner, some basics like tomatoes. Extra sides can be expensive with the main course. Scrambled eggs for breakfast could be improved and there were not fresh fruits only canned sirup ones. Also I haven t been told until check out that drinks in the mini bar were complimentary for this room, which is a shame. Great people at the reception.

« Very nice staff, slightly disappointing room. »

The staff and the hotel were generally excellent. The only slight disappointment was that having booked a 'Privilege Room with Canal View' we expected more than a single 20cm wide window in the room - not a big thing but having paid a little more for the view it would have been nice to be able to enjoy it. The original room we were given was larger, but only had a view of the Railway station. Apart from that disappointment everything about the stay was excellent.

On arrival was informed we have been upgraded which was nice, the room was really lovely and the bathroom was very large with bath and a separate walk in shower. The reception staff all spoke English and were very friendly. The breakfast had a great choice and the hotel is only a 10 mins walk to the city center. There was parking available under the hotel which was secure.

We had a very quick trip to Nantes, so weren't able to take advantage of many of the hotel's amenities. The room was comfortable and the staff very accommodating. The location of the hotel next to the train station was important because we had a 6 am train to catch. Would definitely stay there again.

« I am paying for sleep, and you cannot get any sleep at this hotel. »

Construction outside of the hotel all night and day. The air conditioning inside the sleeping rooms did not work. If you open the window to try to get fresh air, the jack hammering kept you awake all night. The workers began at 10pm and did not stop until 6pm. The sleeping room was as hot as a sauna. You could not sleep due to the heat and the severe construction noise. The front desk was pleasant, but each day they reported the technician was unable to fix the broken air conditioning. This was a miserable stay.
