It was as expected from my past experience. Although the rooms were clean, but they smell of stale cigarette and actually there was an ash tray in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and polite.

3 things made my stay a nightmare.

2 single bed put together to make a large bed was a nightmare. In addition a large duvet folded into 2 and put inside a single duvet cover was not ideal. Save the best to the last domestic staff enter my room in the morning without knocking was the ice on the cake.

Staff were very friendly, room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. One small item was the shower height adjuster being broken, but it didn't stop me from showering okay. Another comment I would make is that the food was good but the choice was limited. I was travelling with a colleague and he didn't find anything on the evening menu which he liked unfortunately - there were two lamb dishes, one beef and one fish from which he would only eat beef but we had that for lunch...chicken as another alternative would've been nice. I understand that the hotel is small but maybe avoid having two meats the same when there is only four dishes to choose from. Overall though we would happily return again.

The hotel has a rather basic, industrial look outside, but inside it turned out to be quiet and even a bit cosy. The neighborhood is not to be called picturesque, but you can park your car for free at the back of the building and you are in the center of Paris in less then an hour using public transport. It is a good place when visiting Paris. I would recommend it to friends and family. Oh, and do not forget to visit the aerospace museum that is practically next door.

The elevator was non-operational which made it difficult to get to the rooms, throughout the period of stay. i.e. Friday to Sunday. Normal next day repair would have been the acceptable plan.

Not very happy. I was given a room in third floor. 319. As the lift was not working, and I had a leg problem, I found it difficult to walk up. So at my request they gave me a room on 1st floor. 102. When I went into the room I found the room was full of smell of smoke. It was so irritating. When I told them they said that there are no other room as all were occupied. So they sprayed the room with anti smell spray. There were two ash trays in the room. Not a very happy stay. Anyway I managed.

Though the stay was peaceful, the first time I entered the room I couldn't bear the cigarette smell. It was awful. They had given me smokers room. So I had to request the Reception to change my room to a non-smokers room, which request they honoured. I wondered why there are smokers and non-smokers rooms in hotels! I suggest that there should be no 'smokers rooms' at all in hotels. Those who want to smoke, they should go outside, or a separate place away from the residential rooms. Thanks.

Was initially disappointing. On check in, as a Silver Le Club Card holder I enquired about the welcome drink and was told I wasn't entitled to one, in fact the gentleman running reception looked at me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. Once checked in I was informed that the lift wasn't working, this was a shame as although I was only staying 1 night at this hotel I was to be in France for a week so had a large suitcase, and of course I was on the 3rd floor. At around 8:15 I went down for dinner to be told the restaurant was shut, with no explanation given. Eventually, the receptionist did show me a takeaway pizza menu but this wasn't what I was looking for. When checking out the lady asked about my stay and I mentioned both these incidents and to her credit, she did apologise and explain that the chef was ill and offered me a belated welcome drink which I gratefully accepted (a bottle of orange).

...new decor....pleasant staff (unlike last year when I was accosted by what I'm sure was a prostitute and her pimp loitering in the Reception area....and who accosted me in the lift!!!) ...all very clean and ordered....
