1st executive room had a broken window. Impossible to close the window. I don't understand how the hotel hasn't seen that before letting customer take the room. Change of room was easy. Breakfast is really good. Situation of the hotel is pretty good (city center reachable by foot). This was my 1st time in an executive room in this hotel. I normally book standard room. I would rather advise to book the standard one as the difference between both types of room is negligeable. The price gap on the contrary is important.

« Unqualified staff that provides misleading information and is incompetent in providing a receipt »

Your service is disappointing and unacceptable. Your staff is is unqualified as they are unable to fill out and send a simple receipt form that I need for my business trip. You should provide your staff with some education or hire better educated staff and not a bunch of unexperienced minions. It is against the law to deny a receipt for a business trip.

Your comments are very unfair, regarding the fact how you called our employee. We have procedures that are subordinated to polish tax law, therefore you always need to get your receipt after your stay, and I am sure that you were advised. Not recommended fot buiness travel, because the hotel is full of bus tourists and the life Music during the dinner was disturbing. The swimmingpool was not open during my stay and the staff at check in was not competent. I was not treated as Platinum member.

Everything was excellent. The room was spacious (an Executive room) clean and quiet, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, and we ate twice in the bar/restaurant and both times it was excellent. We were very impressed with Novotel.

We didn't stay in the end. We emailed your hotel 16 days before our stay to ensure that the pool/Jacuzzi was working, as my husband is recovering from a back operation and we were relying on this plus point for our stay in Krakow. The guest experience manager emailed me back very promptly telling me that pool/Jacuzzi were all working fine and not to forget our swimsuits. We arrived to be told that an ANNUAL PLANNED maintenance was being carried out and that neither was working and that we could use the one in Sheraton hotel about 10 mins away, Sheraton does not have a Jacuzzi only a pool. Also notices around the hotel saying that pool/Jacuzzi would be reopened on 7th but this was also not true as when we asked the hotel manager she was unaware that it would be opened then she was quite surprised when we mentioned the notices and her reply was oh gosh. We left with a full refund but it was very stressful trying to get something else organised last minute, I am a very organised person and always have everything booked well in advance. So standing in the street with our bags did not add to this stress.

« Great visit wish we never changed to Mecure »

Lovely experience we got upgraded to an executive room. We split our trip to Krakow into 6 nights at the Novotel and then 7 at the Mecure Krakow Stare Miasto. The service we received at the Novotel was far superior. We had a great stat at the Mecure in 2017. But we were not impressed a year later. We should have stayed 13 nights at the Novotel. I am disappointed not to have received my points for my stay here. My other stays have registered but not the Novotel so far 10 days after our stay.
