I was in Egypt for business. The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are clean. The wi-fi connection could be better. Breakfast is ok with a good choice of food.

It was great, the facilities are amazing, food is excellent & service is good. I would however recommend if you plan on dealing with a big group in the future (we were 128 pax, including children & youth & adults) that you give your staff a heads up to be prepared for that. It seems you are not used to having children or youth around. The fact that there are no stairs & the rooms can only be accessed via the elevator is a major issue.

I have being staying at Novotel hotels all over the world but my recent stay in Cairo had bad timing as there were pool renovation work in progress. The very distinct, acute and annoying smell of material was all over the hotel and also in my room on the 5th floor. I didn't use the Breakfast hot meals buffet because of being substandard. Front desk allocated a smokers room without giving me an option to choose, the room maintained a bad cigarette smell. Finally the air-conditioning switch is linked too the door's car key, so when I was not in the room the AC was not working and had to wait for a couple of hours to cool the room, never seen that in a hotel before where in most places the AC is excluded from the electricity cut-off when the card is not in place
