« Perfect satisfaction with the hotel and the people working there - all over all Perfect »

I was welcomed in a highgand way with respect and a smile. The room was clean , very nicely made and warm. The lady in the hotel also broth me cake, juice and an apple for welcomeing - this was realy nice. Your welcome letter should be in bouth languages english and portugese - I would have been happy to of read it. Every day the cleaning was very nite and fast. The breakfast is also good, maybe missing some pancake or more of vegetarian food. But it was very good. Thank you for doing such a good job! :-)

Very nice, clean hotel and room. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel had easy access and is in a good location, easy to find, parking lot, quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff and good service. The bathroom needed some maintenance and the room was hotter than needed.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were adequate, although it might be worthwhile to get rid of the carpet when the hotel is renewed. Also, during our second stay, the shower tiles had not been cleaned from soap/mineral scale. I am sure that the bathroom had been cleaned, but staff should pay special attention to those little details - they really make a difference. Otherwise, everyone was very friendly, and we certainly enjoyed the breakfast and the location.

« Good hotel but lifts need sorting. »

Good hotel, convenient to shopping centre but not much else. Strange smell in corridor but rooms ok. Lifts were unreliable and need attention, especially if you suffer from claustrophobia. No upgrade available because full (rather surprised as very few people present but no reason to disbelieve). Handy garage but public transport not convenient and not much help from staff.

Hotel is near to the town, but alongside a shopping mall. Good rooms. Good breakfast. Plenty of safe parking available. We were driving south in the morning, and this suited us perfectly. Will stay again.

« You just feel noticed and it is amazing. »

Dear Sir / Madam, i stayed with my sister and her 3-years old daughter in the Mercure Porto Gaia Hotel the last week. On the behalf of my sister and myself ( also my Godchild ), I would like to express my deep and great overall experience over that stay. We all felt very welcome, taken care off and we really felt so relaxed. And relax and peace we needed the most. We were provided with the sufficient information over our stay at the hotel and also our questions over Porto city were more than well answered. Great restaurant, great food during the dinner and the breakfast as well. I am the AccorHotels Club member and always book my hotels via this brand, and based on the latest experience Mercure Porto Gaia Hotel it will not change at all in the nearest future. We send the warm greetings to the Reception Ladies and to the restaurant gentlemen ( especially Claudio who brought a smile on my Godchild's face more than one time :-) ).
