The best hotel in Lisbon, good location for access to metro and suburban trains, motorways to both north and south of portugal, airport, city centre and turist buses stop outside. Disappointing. There were maintenance and housekeeping issues. The air Con was overheating in our room and it took some time to be re-allocated. The food and service in the restaurant was very good but the ladies' public lavatories were not being serviced ie, no cleaning and no hand towels for several days. The service offered in reception regarding information for tourists could be much improved. Having voiced our concerns we liked the hotel and found it to be well placed for sight seeing.

The food in the restaurant was of very good quality, well cooked and served with a smile. The bar service was equally good. Reception less so. The air conditioning on the first night did not work and the room was stifling. The person on reception was dismissive of the problem before moving us to another room which took most of the morning. The tourist information at reception was also poor. The servicing of the public toilets was inadequate, cleaning indifferent and hand towels not replenished. We liked the hotel itself, the rooms and its location convenient for the city centre.

This is a good hotel,We stayed here for 2 nights with family staying in 2 rooms with breakfast included,The first room in which my brother in law and his wife stayed in had a view of the main road and buildings opposit so not such a good view and traffic noise,But the room itself was of a 4 star standard,Our room had a view of an old house with a dog barking on the first night up until about 11pm but was fairly quite on the second night the view was also of the aquaduct that runs through Lisbon very historical and a main road so a pretty decent view,This room was also of a 4 star standard with just one problem the washbasin in the bathroom kept backing up as if something was blocking it but this did not happen all the time,Now the but as stated we had breakfast included on both mornings and as plentiful as the breakfast was the hot items ie bacon,eggs,sausage,beans,mushrooms & tomatoes were either cold or barely warm which was a disapointment,We ate both nights at the restaurant and the food that we had was of a good standard only problem was on the first night the fried potatoes (chips,french fries,batata fritas) were cold so we sent them back and they were reheated but on the second night we asked that all the food be hot and upon arriving at the table it all was hot,The first night we had the chicken and my wife had the pizza on the second night I had the steak sandwich and my wife had the pizza again but we shared on both nights and the food was very good,The hotel is pretty far out from the town centre but there are good transport links and the yellow hope on hop off bus almost passes the door and tickets can be purchased at reception for 16 euros per person for the blue line tour which takes in all the sights,Would I stay here again if I was in Lisbon=YES.

Restaurant service was very disappointing, mr lopes i think was his name was worried about talking with his friend at the bar that serving guests. I arrived with my family to have dinner and the waiter told that service was bad as he was alone with 1 chef. I diceded to give a go, Tables were dirty after being in the table for long time I had to go to get the menus they never arrived, my wife had to go to the bar to ask for food waiter told us that our order wasn't available but he had plenty of time to speak with is friend for we left, unfortunately I will be back on 3/02 as it was booked before my stay!! Room was good, and breakfast team was superb T

The experience was quite pleasant. My room has a noise coming from somewhere, like a whistling sound. A great disadvantage of this hotel is that you are not right in the city center. You are about 25 minutes if you take the metro. The gym does not have a gym and I had to pay to go to one. I like exercising while I am away. Breakfast is great. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is fabulous

I found the people very nice and accommodating, and spoke English and/or French well. I was very pleased with the breakfast, the ability to have a quiet table and do some work before my meetings. The negative points has to be how the electricity was installed in the rooms. First, you could not hold open the door and put the card into the slot to activate the electricity in the rooms. This is particularly difficult at night when the room is pitch dark. Second, there were no electrical outlets next to the bed which means you could not have you phone charging and near you at the same time when you were sleeping. You also couldn't work on your computer in bed if you needed to charge it. Today's business travelers would find the room very nice, very clean but not very practical.

It was a great experience, room is comfortable and the size is enough. Great bathroom and cleaned. The room 311 has kind a difficult to open the door. The key reader is not that good. The room 310 has damages at the tub.

Room was clean however the hotel provided only disposal cups, plastic cups and two coffees without any glass wine. On arrival at the reception the hotel receptionist could not speak German or did not want to speak German. When we were checking out the hotel receptionist wanted to double charge us for breakfast and it took some time to clarify this situation. As this was the hotel fault we expected some sort of apology however nobody even said sorry. Please note we stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and we were very satisfied so we recommended this hotel to our friends from Germany. This time our friends and we are very disappointed with some hotel services as mentioned above.
