« Νice hotel, simple rooms, great breakfast »

A nice convenient hotel, not in the city centre, but 5 minutes on foot from the zoo metro station, on the busiest line crossing the city. Nice staff, great breakfast. The pool water was cold, and that's just about the only problem. Also rooms, which were quite simple and bleak in deco, had no electric sockets anywhere near the bed, so charging etc was impossible when in bed... Nice quality toiletries

« Ideal location, but .... »

This was my 2nd stay in this hotel, and I must say that like last time, the hotel offered a very good service, and ideal location given that it is not that far from the centre and from the Metro line station. Rooms were very clean and bed comfortable, and the breakfast was good. However there's always a BUT .... the dinner that was offered were always on a buffet basis, which made it quite challenging for me, since I am not quite a buffet fan. A more varied menu with an adequate selection of dished (be it local dishes, or international dishes), would be desirable Other than that, apart from addressing the above concern, the hotel is fine

« Nice hotel »

Nice room, swimming pool ok, very good breakfast However I have been woken up by the cleaning lady at 9 am who knocked strongly upon the door and entered in the room. She saw we were asleep and she did it again 1 hour later. She enter and I was naked in the room !!!! Couldn’t she wait we leave the room instead of being so pushy ?

Great hotel, close to metro, so can access all the tourist spots. Good restaurants nearby also. Nice park nearby and views of city from hotel. Service very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, although would prefer walk-in showers.

« Friendly staff, handy location, well-serviced room »

My husband and I stayed at the Mercure Lisboa for 8 nights. We were initially disappointed with the office neighborhood location, but changed our minds about that. The proximity to the train and metro station was very handy, and the view of the aqueduct was lovely. But the crown jewel of the hotel is the staff, who were friendly, helpful, very professional, and who did a great job maintaining our room, which was spotless every day. We felt very at home in the Mercure Lisboa.

In order to turn the room temperature more pleasant, I decided to turn on the air conditioning system to control it. However time to time I heard loud cracklings during the night coming from the restroom ceiling . These noises woke me up sometimes un til the moment I decided to turn it off then the noise disappeared.

Our rooms have a ventilated air system (which sends cool air in summer and warm air in winter) and doesn’t allow to regulate the room temperature. Therefore the rooms that are south facing, exposed to the sun all day, become rooms a bit warmer than the rest. at first, i am not happy with the reservation happened with your hotel. because i have did total 3 bookings from booking.com. and the hotel have cancelled 2 of our reservation due to credit card payment not able to charged throw however, we have reconfirmed with our bank and the limit of the card is no problems at all. End up i have to called to the hotel and speak to the reservation, and they ask me to book the room from the hotel website, yes end up i got the room there but i need to pay higher rate and with no breakfast.

A very nice hotel indeed. Even though it is not located in the city center, it is within walking distance from it and there are metro stations nearby. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfasts. A free upgrade for a Platinum Accor Club Member. I recommend it highly.

the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were brilliant with much choice. It was an extra bonus to have warm Gluten free rolls provided for me each morning. The manager was especially helpful with excellent English.

Reasonable hotel, unhappy constellation in view of problems with swimming pool, moderate leadership. We did not feel that staff is motivated and enthusiastic to work for Accor group or for Mercure hotels or for the Mercure Lisboa in particular. Hardly a smile, the statt does their job.
