« Lovely restaurant but room not ready for baby »

We arrived late in the evening to be told that although we had booked a triple room with two adults and one child aged under 1, the room had three adult beds and this couldn’t be fixed. I had to take apart the third bed to put the mattress on the floor & use all the pillows and blankets on the floor. The baby crawled out once then eventually we all slept! Online check-in had given us error messages so we checked in at the hotel. We were told we should have emailed for a baby cot as well as do our online booking - this wasn’t stated on booking. The breakfast was superb. Really good choice and friendly staff. Good quality juices, cereal, hot food, all sorts. Beautifully presented, clean dining room. Our shower head fell off the wall as soon as it was switched on - the fitting was cracked. Other than that, lovely bathroom and toiletries! The air con didn’t work - the fan seemed to emit cigarette smoke smells at times. We reported the bed and shower problems (only a 1 night stay).

I was told the hotel was full and that’s why they didn’t give me the deserved upgrade as I’m gold... That’s a shame because the hotel wasn’t full at all and I always got my upgrade for free in the last years. Don’t know why someone want just to make the life worse of someone else and even lie about this, that’s a shame Accor, you need to fix this!

Large room with very comfortable beds. Good facilities and very clean. Check in process very smooth. Only ate once at the hotel - breakfast on the first day; which was excellent. Hotel is located close to public transport.

« Another great stay »

We were treated as valued guests. The front desk personnel were helpful and professional. One young lady gave us directions to pharmacy and also sold us tickets for the yellow bus tour. The restaurant personnel in evening (especially Daniel Rosa)as well as at the breakfast each morning were very nice. We ordered two packages of pasteis de nata before leaving the hotel and they were made for us before we checked out of the hotel.

I had big expectations but the equipment of the hotel was sometimes surprising. For example in the bathroom was weird stain (i suppose that was mildew) and in the night i heard some clang from the bathroom in repeat period. According to the price i think it is not good. Personal of the hotel was very kind and breakfast was rich. Compared with Mercure Hotel in Warszaw that was little bit disappointing.

Okay, just okay. Staff were very friendly and professional. Very expensive bar prices seeing as how the drinks were served in plastic glasses. Rooms looking tired and in need of refurbishment. Otherwise, good location, easy to get to and from, and overall an “okay” stay

The minibar of room 213 was at room temperature only, the cooling function did not work when I checked in. I had to ask for another room. The man at reception seemed to be surprised with the problem but accepted quickly to do the switch to another room.

Rooms although clean are dated and need updating. Many of the staff at the check in desk are not very welcoming or helpful e.g. when you arrive after a day out and heading to the lifts to go to your room they don't even look at you let alone say something simple like good evening or good night. The breakfast was really bad and a total waste of money. The quality on offer is poor e.g the apple and red fruit juices were fizzy kind of like if they had gone past their sell by date. I told one of the waiters who took a sample glass of juice in to the kitchen but never heard from him again. Luckily we only paid for breakfast for one night and had breakfast in nearby cafe the other days. Finally when it came time to check out we were told the final amount and that amount was deducted from my credit card but something didn't seem right and I asked to see the invoice, when the invoice was presented they had charged for breakfast for three nights when we only had it for one night. Thankfully another lady came out who I think was the manager and she resolved the issue and refunded the difference but this is the first hotel I have ever been to that just tells you the total amount and deducts it without presenting you with an invoice first!

« Perfect hotel experience »

Very friendly welcome. I've stayed in many hotels, and found room close to perfect. Everything had been thought of. I particularly liked the fact that one could light up the room very well (not available in most hotels), or have more muted lighting. The specific reading lamps were a nice touch. Again often not available - does no one read anymore? Initially, my room was too hot and I did not find the airconditioning efficient. When I mentioned this, I was changed to a different room which was much cooler. All the staff were helpful and friendly.
