Do not go in the summer, because air conditioner at room does not work. Do not think about staying free after 1:00 PM, because hotel will be almost empty, and they'll say it´s full. If you intend to go to Fatima's sanctuary and you've got a LeCLub Accor card, it's ok. If you're not a member, choose another hotel.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, specially if you came in Winter but please note that we still don´t have air conditining just climatized and the late check out will be as usualy on our hotel, up to the availability and also as usualy by request we leave clients stayng in the room until 4PM free of charge and up that time with the normal International late check-out rules,I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experiencewith the best relation ship price and quality that so many of our guests have grown so fond of infortunely it was not your case. « Attention needed to some details »

The overall experience was good. Nevertheless, there were two things that show more attention to certain details is needed. First, there was only one electric socket which, with all the portable equipment we carry nowadays is clearly insufficient in a room designed for two. I suggest the use of a socket cube like those installed in the IBIS Saldanha in Lisbon where I use to stay when I go to the capital. Second, the light above the desk was not working keeping the working area almost in the dark. A simple verification could be done by the room cleaners when they clean the room, were they instructed to do it and to communicate any broken light.

« Perfect for Accorhotels’ guests going to Fatima »

Air conditioner didn’t work properly at room. I had stayed in the summer, so I suffered too much! 36°C outside, almost 30°C inside it. Other issue: I’ve got a gold status at LeClub Accorhotels, asked for a room upgrade - and they denied! The old answer “hotel is full” - although there were rooms available at Accorhotels website... It won’t be easy LeClub convince frequent guests that they have advantages - with hotels management like this.

First Class value money in every sense. This is our second visit and we will be returning again. Reception was first class efficient and friendly. Parking at the Hotel was good but a little bit of a tight squeeze for a large vehicle but possible with care.

« You get what you expect from a 2 star hotel »

The room was clean but it smell like people were smoking there before and it was not possible to open the window, neither the air conditioning was working. Most of the time the water in the bath (shower and toilet) was not working very well. Anyways, the breakfast was really good for a two star hotel and the guys at the reception were helpful. Location is also ok, quite close to the city center and the university.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel was charmingly relaxing and quiet. Not in the bustle of the centre but just a fifteen minute walk away following a path along the river. A great place to stay and very well located to visit Fatima, Nazaré, Tomar, Coimbra and Lisbon is only an hour away. If you want to get to know the real Portugal, this is a great place to stay.

The parking for cars isn't the best. It's the only issue. The breakfast was good and with plenty variety. I loved the bread, it fills you up. For kids there's a plenty variety of channels for them to watch.

« Very worn out hotel in need of updating »

We booked two rooms. One with double and one with two single beds. The bed was comfortable and towels appeared clean. The price is reasonable. Otherwise, the room is very worn: the carpet is like a brown felt and is worn out, the walls had several large cracked plaster areas, the grout in the bathroom is stained. The double room smelled clean, the twin room smelled like a pet had been in there. Overall, the rooms appeared clean, but the tiredness of them will keep me from returning. I have a reservation for six rooms next month, but am going to discuss cancelling the reservation with my guests who are traveling with us. Unless you have other floors that are updated and can assure we will be in those rooms?
