The rooms was really nice, on two floors. The only issue was that the bed for kids was not ready on arrival and he had to wait for a while. It was also good we could park underground even with a roofbox on top of the car.

« Good location, lovely staff, comfortable room but a bit noisy. »

Overall we found the hotel met our needs and we found the staff helpful and absolutely delightful. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise late at night for each night of our stay. Mostly the noise was due to banging doors, likely to be other guests, but also what sounded like furniture being dragged across floors (from rooms above possibly). Perhaps a review of door closing mechanisms to see if there is a way of reducing noise. If there is furniture in rooms with hard floors perhaps something on the feet of chairs, etc., that prevents noise when being moved.

One thing to keep in mind when booking in the summer months is that the room temperature controls are locked; the room will not not cool down to comfortable sleeping temperature. For the rest the hotel is good. Good breakfast and great location.

Rooms should be checked more frequently for small defects and these should be fixed. As a premium guest, I am really upset about the credit card deposit that is asked every time. I don't understand why this is done. I know no other hotel that is working like this. Checking in and out takes an incredible long time, sometimes up to 30 minutes. Waiting queues in the lobby are common.
