We were two adults, a teenager and a pet. The room was very spacious, which was perfect for us. The staff was nice and very helpful. The breakfast was good, but the space, where the food was served was too small for the amount of people having breakfast. We had actually to wait for a free table.

We had a very disappointing 5 night stay from 21st December, 2018 at Novotel Vélizy. I have listed below my comments, 1. The room we stayed in was a ‘suite’, though it was nothing like. It was a slightly bigger standard hotel room with a curtain in the middle to partition into 2 parts. 2. The hotel is in bad need of a revamp. The carpets are stained and have a musty order and the overall visible impression is very poor. 3. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Firstly the usual Novotel hot food fare was missing - cooked sausages, sautéed mushrooms, scrambled eggs and eggs to order. Instead, there was a small cooking station for guests to make their own eggs! Your guests have visited you for a holiday and you expect them to make their own food! If some guests enjoy it that way, give them that option, but most guests would rather have the hotel take care of their needs. 4. Poor planning at breakfast. The hotel was ill prepared for a large number of guests. Limited seating options, dirty tables and no immediate clearing of used plates and trays from tables were some really negative points. Further, the food itself ran out of stock. Bacon was unavailable for our first 3 breakfasts at the hotel, when there were a lot of guests. 5. I sent a mail on the very first day after experiencing issues at breakfast. I however received a reply from the receptionist, not the manager with a meaningless and unacceptable ‘we are sorry, had more guests, we would love to have you back, give us another chance’. No one - neither the receptionist nor the manager made any effort to contact me in all the remaining 4 nights at the property. It was like my mail was conveniently forgotten. It was an overall forgettable experience at Novotel Vélizy, when compared to our earlier stays in other Novotel properties across the world. I shall definitely not recommend this property to other guests. Thanks, Vinod

Good, welcoming employee, rooms are too old and always broken things, location is not the best therefore I would expect a better experience such as shower gel, bath salt and other goodies that increase the experience comfort, Chromecast on TVs, more food available on the menu.... This time, the bedroom was proper ! Breakfast is really sad, would expect more proactive employees (cleanliness of tables and refill of empty plates). Not my favourite hotel in Velizy although it could become easily.

« Very comfortable stay except limited food available »

Spacious room for stay and work. Bath tub and shower space is one of the best in Paris. Limited food available comparing to other Mercure hotels which has better meals and smaller rooms.

« One of my favourite hotels in the area »

I spent around 180 days per year in Paris over 3 years, that was 5 years ago and most of the time in the Suite Novotel Velizy. I had the opportunity to come back again recently. The hall was renovated but keeps the same structure. I was glad to see they keep the free massages on Tuesdays although I couldnt enjoy it during this trip. I noticed they added an oil captule with essences to the shower in the executive room, however I only had one in my room and it was already used :(. I notified reception but they said it was not possible and didnt give me any capsule. So I was not able to try it. The TV looks bigger than in the past, and it was already big. And they dont replace the compliments as frequently as they did. I missplaced the pencil the first day and it was not provided in the following days. Still is one of my favourite hotels in the area. The staff is nice and rooms wide and clean with big flat TV (probably around 50")

I stayed for 2 nights. The room is spacious based on the price we paid. room was little bit noisy during the night with the corridor activities. The shower was leaking with the feature to put the odor cup in it. The breakfast is really not at the level of the hotel: limited in choice with one morning no croissant or pain au Chocolat, coffee not very good, ...

The Family suite room was spacious, clean and exceeded my expectations for the additional features. Microwave, Refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, shower enclosure + bath tub. My daughters had a fab stay so did my lovely wifey. At border of Zone 3 so from city Center, RER and then Tram to Meudon la Foret stop.For Versailles palace you can board 179 Bus just out of the hotel.So I'd say connectivity was good for the price I paid (NO too much walking) Great place. Mariana at Reception Desk is a fantastic and smiley staff. Keep it up.

The hotel is very good for an extended business trip. The rooms are kept very clean. There are safes in the room which is very helpful. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. There are 2 reasons why I have not marked a 10, firstly I do not think the breakfast is worth the amount of money that is charged and secondly the road leading to the hotel is very poorly light with no path and so very dangerous for people walking in the evening to the hotel. Other than that it is a good hotel.

« Last time was good, but not staying here again »

For improvement: - The receptionists were very unprofessional and remarks have been made me paying for another colleague. - Receptionists barely speak English, if any. - The air conditioner circulation was very loud, much louder then is other hotels. - Hence I needed to use earplugs, one of them went missing from the room while is was at work... Once I raised this, the receptionist asked if I want to change my room, highlighting that she doesn't understand English. Also even though it's the hotel's fault that my earplug went missing zero effort has been done to solve the issue. - There was water in the toilet so I needed to change my room. - The room keys are never working and every day it has to be re-adjusted so it works. - The shower head broke as well. - The hotel is not fit to handle breakfast if a higher number of people stay there. At 8AM there was barely any food left, no plate and cutlery... On the plus side: - The room was clean.

« Forgott something in the room - it was not possible to get it back - bad communication »

Hello, I stayed in your Hotel 01.10 - 05.10 in Room 814. Unfortunately I forgot my electric toothbrush (a quite pricy one) in the room. I checked back 2 times via phone / 1 per E-mail ... with no feedback as promised. In my last call I just got the feedback nothing found ... which can simply not be. I have to stay 1 week every month in Velizy ... will choose for future stays another hotel. Thanks, Michael

The room did not smell fresh, I did not feel good staying there. The bathroom with the "higher" plastic floor feels like in a caravan! This is dangerous to walk out, cause it was at least 10 cm deep and I hurt my leg.

We booked two rooms, at this hotel, the entrance to the hotel is quite hard to find, the signage could be better as its amongst office building. Parking entrance is a bit tricky for big cars in the underground spaces but can be done with care. We checked into our rooms but one had been smoked in, the reception changed the room straight away. Beds are very comfortable, rooms very clean and the housekeeping excellent during out three night stay. We had booked some years ago on a number of times with various suite hotels and one of the plus points was the suitejox entertainment offering movies etc but this has now gone which is shame. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
