As I am travelling to Barcelona for business on a regular basis, I stay at the ibis Barcelona Meridiana quite frequently. The hotel offers great value for money. The breakfast buffet is really good. And the staff is always very helpful and friendly.

« We had to chng rooms 3 times. 1st was handicap. And the second smelled like the sewer! »

At first not very helpful, but when we finally were ok with the 3rd room we were treated better.

I had a fabulous room at a hotel that was perfectly placed. My only negative was that I was told (over the phone A few days prior) I could have an early check-in, free of charge, but upon arrival was told that I would have to pay 15 euros in order to have a room cleaned for early check-in. Once I paid, I was immediately told that the room was already ready. So I’m not certain what I actually paid for. This was a bit disturbing but the only downside to my stay. All charges should be clearly stated upfront and I shouldn’t have to pay extra for a room that was already cleaned and awaiting my early arrival.

Ibis recognized my previous stay at this hotel. Gave all of us a pair of loyalty socks and a bottle of water in every room. Staff is very friendly and I will come back again.

The neighbours opened and closed their doors on a Sunday morning between 6.00 a.m. and 8.00a.m. at least 20 times. Very poor sound isolation. In relation to other Ibis Hotels very poor quality.
