Very comfortable beds very spacious room. Good selection for breakfast frequently replenished. Staff were wonderful - very helpful, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Minor niggles only. Hotel was further from Venice than I realised, making it more suitable for those with cars, but with the all day any bus/water bus ticket we managed very well. Walk to/from bus stop felt slightly unsafe due to a partial lack of pavement. Restricted pool opening times 11-7pm, not heated and quite shallow, but a nice place to sit and relax. Could do with some umbrellas. Limited equipment in fitness suite. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend. Had lunch and dinner in Venice so did not use hotel restaurant. However when I popped in for more milk to make tea they could not have been more helpful.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay before flying home from Marco Polo airport. Bed was very comfy and room lovely. Advertised as having a fridge, which we needed for medication, however the fridge isn’t cold and when asked at reception they said the fridges aren’t really proper fridges and they couldn’t help us store the medicine which was very frustrating. Great kid’s area in reception near to the nice bar and pool so they can have fun while you relax with a drink. We were generally pleased with the hotel as it was practical for us however the food in the restaurant (excluding breakfast which was quite good) was really quite grim - especially for what it cost! We would have been better going over the road to the Roadhouse Grill or even to the petrol station for a sandwich!

I like Accor hotels and Novotel in particular, as I always encountered high level hotels: modern and clean. However, In this case I would expect better accessibility into Venice: some shuttle service into the city, or at least to the central train station in Mestre. walking to bus station line #2 each day at the heat of August was not the pleasant experience of my day. Environment Care: I REALLY like your efforts in keeping our plant greener and cleaner. I LOVED the use in fair-trade and organic products in the washing room. But with all this effort, the cups in the washing basin were made of single-use plastic, each is packed in nylon bag. why not using good old cups made out glass?? The swimming pool was nice, a great relief from the heat.

This is an excellent family hotel for a visit to Venice. It is well placed for transport by road and especially for the public buses to Mestre and Venice. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the staff are the best I have encountered in a long time. Children love the swimming pool (and so do many adults). The dining room is stretched at breakfast, though. There are just too many people about at buffet breakfast time whether individual families or organised tours. Another, minor, problem is that some of the furniture- in the bar for example- is becoming worn. The cooking is good but some may feel the menu is a bit short.

Very nice room, good service and advice , but breakfast is little disappointingbreakfast hall is little bit noisyfresh fruit are not at the best level. Venice is not very far : 15 minutes to walk to the direct bus stop and 20 minutes of bus ( bus every 15 minutes)

My room was good and clean, the hotel facilities are sufficient but during my stay this hotel made me feel a bit less of a 4 star hotel. My room has mini bar yet its empty, I informed the reception but I was told just to get it from vending machine available in that level and no complimentary water. I even got complimentary water from Ibis budget and mercure. It made my last days of my holiday a bit disappointed.

« Unfriendly staff and misinformed about location, access and amenities »

On arrival the staff were rude and condescending, it wasn't a friendly welcome. I booked the hotel to be closer to the airport- but hadn't been made aware from your website that it costs a minimum of 35 euro to get to the airport and that it is impossible to walk anywhere because of the location of the hotel. And as a result of this the snacks and and dining options that you offer are inadequate. You should improve your dining options, make it clear that the hotel is on a busy highway and that a car is necessary and state the taxi fare- this is not an airport hotel or you would offer a shuttle service.

« Hotel super, but..... »

In general, the hotel is always clean, pleasant and without reservations. However, the swimming pool is too short. Warm summer nights are conducive to spending a long time there, even to the last customer or eg until midnight. The second thing is unfortunately a very small selection of food for breakfast, scrambled eggs with very distasteful powder, few cheeses, cold meats, sausages, vegetables like tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, etc. In Polish hotels of the NOVOTEL brand, breakfasts are very generous. Please work on it.

Good value for money We stayed only 1 night to visit venice. With our bikes we cyclus to the centre of Mestre from where Bus/Tram is going ever 10 or 20 minutes. Room was large enough for two adults and 2 childeren.

We enjoyed our stay at Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana. The pool area, room and breakfast were all really nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was also convenient when going to Venice by bus.

The hotel is bursting with bus and package tourists, therefore individual travelers are treated somewhat unprofessional and annoying. Service in the full Restaurant was invisible- I had to go to the bar and order a drink myself and take it with me to my table. Taco cannot be ordered in advance, it was necessary to call the reception (about 1/2 hour) before. The taxi was than at reception 7 minutes later. Due to that hectic and mess I forgot my psssport in the (anyway not functioning) safe deposit box. The reception was unwilling to handle that problem and said I have to organize the collection from the hotel myself - THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE if you try to find a courier service from outside Italy which collects a document and delivers it to Germany - everybody I was talking (Fedex, TNT, Go) told me that the expedient has to order it. I also was not able to talk to anybody in their offices in Mestre who could speak English. I contacted the manager and nothing happened up to now after two days. This issue takes now over a week and I am not sure if I will get my passport back again in this life! The restaurant food and the room was fairly ok- not more.

Good quality hotel with swimming pool. Nice room. Good Breakfast. Close to Lidl and Venice/Mestre Station. You take bus nr 2 and you are in Piazzale Roma.
