Good service at a decent price in a convenient location. Ibis is a 3 star hotel chain that always confirms it's value. The rooms are spacious and clean with a confortable bed. Breakfast is an "all you can eat buffet" with numerous choices.

One of the best located budget hotels in town, tube line is 50 m away, main railway station is 400 m away, and yet all rooms are quiet (I have slept already selveral times there). The rooms are quiet and clean. In my opinion the Ibis Gara de Nord is the most omfortable budget hotel you can get at the moment in Bucharest.

I have chosen this hotel because I had experience in others country’s, but I was disappointed, the walls near to the bed they were dirty and marks, the brush for the toilet was dirty and you could see it was used, the bed sheets were marked with some yellow spots . I think you should pay more attention to this kind of details. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the food.

« You must renovate the rooms !!! »

Ibis Gara de Nord has a lot of rooms that have old finishes, ruined furniture and rugs that should be renewed years ago (some rugs are so dirty and used, that cannot be cleaned anymore) - and the smell, in the majority of the rooms in which I've stayed, is not so good, and in some cases really bad. So please renovate the rooms. The staff is good, but maybe you could do something to improve the breakfast. Hopefully you will consider my advice.

Staff very professional and very helpful. Rooms clean. Good restaurant my only complaint is the rooms are too hot in the winter with poor temperature control the heating system does require attention. Several other guests were talking about this .

« This hotel delivers pleasant, simple and clean accommodation, attentive service, and reliable value for money, attentive service »

It is always a pleasure to deal with your staff on my frequent visits to the hotel. Not everything is perfect; the breakfasts probably aren't worth the price, but the bar is well stocked and cheap. The rooms have been refurbished in typical Ibis style and are generally well presented. The location is a bit scruffy, but appears to be safe, with excellent transport links, a colourful market just round the corner and a long-hours supermarket the same distance around a different corner. An English language newspaper is available free of charge most days, and gives a fascinating insight into Romanian politics.
