I have never stayed at a hotel where you pay a check in rather than check out. On the other hand I was able to check in very early and was glad to have done so because my overnighttrain had got in so early and I really needed to get cleaned up. The room was a bit like a college dormitory room but… The price was right. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

I have stayed at other Ibis hotel in Wien Austria, also the Ibis Budget. All of them were over this Ibis Hotel from Bucharest. I had a very dry air in the room, the ac filter I think it passed a long time since have been changed, so not quite a clear air in the room. In one night it was snowing outside, then the TV stopped working.

« Chill out with music room in the center of Bucharest »

Our stay with Ibis Bucuresti Gara de Nord was really amazing! Our arrival from Rome was a couple of hours earlier then planned check-in but at the reception we have received the keys right immediately! (we had a luggage with us and this was extremely good)! The room itself was really cool-looking, very spacious and clean. The location is also beneficial if you plan to walk around the center of the city. Prices are really friendly and the room was completely worth it! So, if you are looking for something special and affordable, this place is good =)

Hotel has good position near “ North Railway Station “, the room is enough big and clean. The service at the desk is quite good. The restaurant should have additional staff. In our room the fridge didn’t work properly and the drinks were missing ( even the water ).

Va asigur ca vom lua toate masurile necesare pentru a rezolva acest gen de probleme si a preintampina aparitia altor evenimente neplacute. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, breakfast is very generous. Though I have always stay at Ibis when I was away with business, I find this hotel suitable for both this propose but for family travel too.

Check in fast but never a friendly smiling face. Room satisfactory bathroom needs a little TLC regarding tiles in shower but everything usable after i had tightened the toilet seat

« The most horrible ibis I stay ever »

Very very old rooms, horrible smell in the room, they let people smoke inside. Very unpleasant staff, upon check-in they had issues with credit card POS and they refuse to check me in (being Business and Gold member). Check-in time took more than 30 min of arguing and explaining the fact I have all credit card details as the guarantee in my reservation.
