When i arrived They told me someone called and cancelar my reservation. I had reservation for 8 nights. I stayed One And it was enough. No possibility to OPEN the window, wanna be bed, Not a real One, dirty hallway. It’s Not posibile to have a smoking room without the possibility to OPEN largely the window. And the parking costs more than 10 euro/ Night... Really bad experience.

Reception was a bit Bucharest style. Not most friendly staff - very straight forward. Was some issues with my loyalty membership, and staff was not very positive about solving this.

« A dirty, fug, airless room with dirty carpet and tired courtains »

I asked for a smoking room, but the room i got seemed not to be whiped clean, aired a long time ago. It was a smog “perfume”, no ventilation in use, no opened window. The sheets where clean, the bathroom was clean, but all the rest was dated and looked like 100 years old. Totally disappointed, never will vome back.

« Good as always for an overnight stay »

This is a good hotel for being in transit through Bucharest. The rooms are spacious and clean. Another advantage is that there is a perfectly acceptable restaurant for dinner and, if you have time, the hotel offers a very good breakfast. My only criticism is that when one has an early departure, it was not possible to get even a cup of coffee since the bar was closed -- in spite of the fact that the hotel advertises "express" breakfast being available from 4 AM.

I was pleased again to be upgraded to a spacious suite that had only very recently been refurbished. Unlike my previous visit, I had no concerns about the state of the carpets; they were entirely new. Front desk service was efficient but perhaps under-resourced at busy times. I note that there appeared not to be a key deposit box for fast checking out. However, a late-night call to reception about a minor problem was answered quickly and entirely satisfactorily. The entire hotel appeared clean and well-maintained and the internet connection was faultless. I have not used the restaurant but the bar is adequate (some more soft armchairs would be welcome). The club sandwich that I tried there was poor; hastily thrown together with a mix of hot and very cold ingredients and some rather oily chips. However, it was late in the evening. I’m reluctant to try the restaurant, although there are few attractive alternatives in this rather run-down part of the town. The immediate locality is unattractive (rooms at the front have a more stimulating outlook) but the hotel is well located for transport facilities. Being a regular visitor to the city, but constrained by a tight budget, I have already booked my next stay in April. However, I have upgraded myself to the Mercure for a special occasion later this month.

« A reasonable place »

It is not luxury but you have a good bed, enough space, a place for working, or for relaxing. You have all you need. The shower was OK and the towels relatively new. It is better then one, two years ago.

Stimate domn Gabriel V., In primul rand va multumim pentru timpul acordat pentru a ne spune despre sejurul dumneavoastra la hotelul Ibis Gara de Nord. Imi pare rau ca experienta in hotelul nostru nu s-a ridicat la nivelul asteptarilor dumneavoastra si va rog sa primiti scuzele din partea noastra. Va asigur ca vom lua toate masurile necesare pentru a rezolva acest gen de probleme si a preintampina aparitia altor evenimente neplacute. Feed back-ul dumneavoastra este foarte important pentru noi fiindca la Ibis Gara de Nord, depunem eforturi sa oferim servicii de calitate superioara pentru fiecare oaspete. Apreciem faptul ca ne impartasiti nemultumirea dumneavoastra si speram ca ne veti oferi oportunitatea de a va servi mai bine in viitorul apropiat.
