Apreciem foarte mult notele referitoare la sederea dumneavoastra la hotelul Ibis Bucuresti Gare Du Nord. Este intotdeauna o placere sa primim un feed back pozitiv. Sunt convinsa ca acest feed back va servi ca si incurajare pentru intreg personalul nostru care depune eforturi pentru a imbunatati calitatea serviciilor oferite. Va multumim ca ati ales hotelul nostru pentru sejurul dvs in Bucuresti si speram ca urmatoarea sedere alaturi de noi sa fie la fel de placuta ca si precedenta. « Truly truly awful »

Hotel is tight next to train station which is it's only plus. The room was spacious but very run down with mouldy shower and a shower door that didn't shut properly and when you tried to close it your finger got trapped. The check in was done on line in advance "to save time" they said but no one was on the desk when I got there and another guest yelled for him. It then still took 10 minutes of the guy trying to sort something. Also I put in special instructions non smoking and still was offered smoking room. The biggest issue is breakfast. I arrived at 11pm and asked about breakfast at 5am the next day as it said available from 430am but was told only if the bar was open. That would be the supposed 24hr bar. At 530am the bar was closed and blocked off and reception unmanned so no hope of any breakfast that I'd already paid for. Day 2 I came down at 635am for the full buffet breakfast which started at 630am to be presented with cold bacon, warm hot dogs, runny eggs and something else inedible. In addition there was watered down juice stale bread (toaster still off), stale cake, oranges, Very limited and dry cold meat and yoghurts. WORST Ibis buffet I have ever had worldwide and so expensive. Truly awful. They should be ashamed of this place and in particular the breakfast and the staff which were both awful.

« After years and years again in Bucharest »

As in any city of Romania, and not only, I was welcomed with great warmth and respect. The hotel is very close to the North Railway Station Bucharest, and by all public transports, very good value of money , and if you like to remember the old times, travellers, tourists please stop here and you will feel good., breakfast was very good, very clean and the staff was very kind and professional. « Brief but happy »

When I arrived very late I was checked in super promptly and offered a welcome drink. My room was clean the bed was so comfortable and I found everything easily. I slept very well and found the bathroom very clean, the shower was a good size the mirror was nice and big. I also had a small fruit plate in my room that I really appreciated. I didn’t have the breakfast but I did take a coffee in the bar and it was delicious. The menu looked to be priced very fairly. In all I had an extremely pleasant stay.

« Could be better »

Only good aspect of my stay was breakfast and the location - a short walk from gara de nord. Overpowering stench of stale tobacco in the bedroom. Guest down the hall very noisy meant a sleepless nite. Room needs updating. Staff not very friendly. The hotel website should give the option of when booking of preference for a smoking or non-smoking room.

« Quiet and close to the Northern Railway Station but too hot in the room »

The second I arrived in the room I realized the temperature inside was in the high 20's celsius. It was a mild and sunny January day but the heating was at the maximum (impossible to adjust it as it is central heating). I was sweating in bed and had to open tthe window which defeats the purpose of having double glazed windows. The receptionist forgot to mention there is a password for the WiFi. This not being a huge problem still caused a minor inconvenience as I had to go downstairs and ask for it. In theory I could just call the reception from the room but this large property has two overworked receptionists who also answer phones which makes it challenging (most hotels with more than a hundred rooms usually have at least one operator)... I think the property needs better management to tackle these issues else ratings will remain low for what is otherwise a well located and quiet hotel.

The hotel Ibis Gara de Nord for 1 night is ok but for more night is not a suitable one due to old furniture in the room and pace in the room is very tight. Same comfort in the bathroom. Rest is ok is clean and people are ok
