« Usual excellent standard let down just a little »

Great welcome, as usual, and simple check in. Room excellent, but shower head wouldn't lock onto riser bar. No problem to us so only reported in the morning, but cleaning staff should have picked this up. Although the bed is super comfortable, the quilt is far too hot for us.

We stayed in the disabled room as it was the last one available we found the shower room floor very slippery so for a disa led person could be very dangerous

« Lovely comfortable room »

Our overnight stay at this hotel was overall a pleasant experience. The room was very comfortable and the power shower was brilliant. The only downside was the staff. The hotel was very busy and there seemed to be only 3 staff who were looking after reception, serving at the bar, booking table at the restaurant, waiting on /maitre d'hôtel in the restaurant, clearing tables etc. They did not look very happy and were obviously not wanting to be there. Management need to sort out this problem of understaffing.

Have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is situated ideally for us on our journey from the north of England to southern Spain (and vice versa). Clean comfortable bedrooms, pleasant staff (normally) and reasonable restaurant. Close to motorway system serving all of France. Opposite Cite Europe shopping centre and 5 minutes drive from Eurotunnel. Large private car park.

We stay at this particular hotel a few times a year. We have tried other hotels in the area but always come back to this Ibis. We have taken advantage of the bed and breakfast the last few times we have stayed. I was particularly pleased to note this time there was a kettle and coffee facilities. Very helpful. We cannot fault the staff. From managers to cleaners ...everyone is very cheerful. Roll on our next visit !

« WORST IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY »

This hotel is a dumphouse , the room has no space to breath in and for £80 I got one sleepless night along with the worlds worst breakfast . I can’t believe Accor hotels who are the world leading brand for hotels (fairmont , solfitel) is providing probably the worst experience of my life . If this crapness is ibis I wonder what ibis BUDGET would be like??
