« Trying out this Novotel for the first time »

We are big fans of Novotel, but this is thd first time we had tried this particular one. The beds are extremely comfortable, the service efficient and friendly, and Novotel always has a fantastic restaurant menu.

« need some renovation work »

Quiet and clean room on teh 6th floor. But bathroom need to be redone (shower is quite hold and mold around it). Bed are too soft dor my taste and compared to other Novotel I have been in.

For a 4 Star Hotel, the Televisión in rooms are OLD, the heated pool advertised was closed and the front desk was staff was unwelcoming

Breakfast was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Rooms however small (with children) and hotel, though not old, does already show signs of age

« Non-consideration of any kind of refund »

I write this review not as an occupant but as a customer who had made his reservations but was unable to stay/utilize the booking due to visa issues. My request for Visa for travel to Spain for my honeymoon was rejected and I had requested the hotel authorities to consider my situation and sought a refund on the same. If in case any documentation was required as proof, I was ready to provide the same as well. But all my requests were in vain. Atleast some understanding should have been there to consider that I was not allowed to travel to Spain, and not because i did not want to. My hotel booking was for 3 nights along with breakfast and the overall amount of INR 25K. Spain was a dream destination for me and my wife, but this money has totally gone down the drain for me and I hope the Spanish authorities and the hotel people reform to consider people's emotions and the value of money.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Technical glitches the lobby has a very strong sewer smell. Elevators not always working, room key had to be fixew everyday. Stains on room carpet.

Even though the hotel is in the outer suburbs of Barcelona, the amazing T10 ticket and transport make it easy to get into the central part of Barcelona and to all the tourist attractions. « Excellent hotel for business and proximity to airport »

I was there for a short stay, and in fact had to work through the night. The room was clean, internet excellent. The food and restaurant service were surprisingly good. Special thanks to Ahmed the night concierge who did a great job. Only complaint: the mini bar was empty, and that meant I had to head downstairs for drinks at night. But then again Ahmed was very helpful.
