travelling alone I decided to have all the dinners in the hotel; despite the selection is not so wide, the overall quality is good and the waiters are nice and kind. Not exactly the same at the reception desk where the staff was not so friendly. I did the online booking but once arrived I have to register again

All good during my stay at the hotel except when I asked to book a cab to the airport the reception team said oh its Sunday and we may have a problem!!! Apparently another group had been waiting 20 minutes with no confirmation of a cab? if this is a normal situation then the hotel must make guests aware of it and also have some sort of plan in place to ensure people can leave the hotel efficiently.

We spent time here in June. It was very hot but the hotel room was a reasonable temperature. The room was clean and adequate for our needs, with any extras needed given without fuss. We had friend collect us both days, so did not use the close public transport. Most of the staff were pleasant, though not many smiles were given. Josep was extra attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. A good pace to stay.

Cleanlyness in the hotel is an importent thing when I'm travelling with my family. This hotel has tu work hard on this point. The facility is not the newest and many elements of the interior are run down. Please renovate.

The room was decent and very quiet, but it lacked electrical outlets, I had to fight a bit against the broken bathtub that would not empty itself, and the couch cover had a hole. Breakfast was satisfying. I had to pay an unclear 0.99€ tax which I didn't need to pay in another hotel in the same city one day later.

the stay would have been better if i had not found ants in my 5th floor room, also the cleaning was completely ignored, why have an option to skip housekeeping when they don't even pay attention to the signs.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Mostly everything was very good. We had a power cut for a short spell one evening and a wedding party were being a bit loud the following evening even with windows closed but apart from that nothing to complain about.

The hotel is not too expensive nor too sophisticated but provides you with a good experience at an affordable price. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. To reach the main Barcelona attractions there are public transportation at an walking distance. The food at the restaurant is ok.

The hotel was what I am used to, no thrills, old and shabby but decent. The problem was the intern in reception, she tried to charge me twice the price I had booked the room for...and I had to call the manager to prevent her for charging me wrongly.

He revisado lo ocurrido con la responsable del departamento y me comenta que la persona que le atendió en un primer momento fue una becaria que no se dió cuenta de que usted ya había pagado parcialmente su estancia con los puntos de su tarjeta de fidelidad. A continuación, la recepcionista empleada lo revisó y se le cobró el importe que correspondía. Sentimos mucho los inconvenientes que le haya podido causar esta situación y esperamos que nos dé una nueva oportunidad para ofrecerle un servicio óptimo en un futuro. The standard was not of a 4 star hotel nor was it to the standard of novotel hotels i have stayed in previously. The room was dirty even after being cleaned. There were holes in the carpet and curtains. The nets were filthy and black at the bottom. The room and bathroom were full of dirt amd crumbs. The room was not hovered once within our 1 week stay. The restaurant food at breakfast was always cold. All plates and bowls were 80% chipped. Many times had to return cups and tableware as it was dirty. 3 occasions there were not any clean cups and had to use paper cups. Several staff members on the front desk were often rude and unhelpful with a poor attitude. Would not reccomend. If I had not stayed at other novotel branches and known the standard I have previously experienced I would not book again. Our room was also not ready on arrival which is not acceptable when staying with 2 young children. Every question or query I asked staff seemed too much effort for them. It was extremely disappointing.

NIce hotel and in a very clean and nice area. Near Tram line T3 which will take you to Metro line to town. The hotel is nice and has a good atmosphere. There is a swimming pool which was closed as bad weather. The welcome drink was provided and was nice. Will go back. The only thing is that it was a little outdated but nothing major. Novotel spends more money on the lobby then rooms. Its a busy hotel so more wear and tear is expected. Gym was nice.

Compare to other Novotel, the room was too small. Room service only prepared the beds and did not vacuum the floor, there was no toilet brush. From our previous experience in Novotel chain we were a bit disappointed.
