« Good rooms, but no Iron in the room »

Satisfied with the stay, but there is no iron in the room in any Novotels. So Novotel is never going to be my first choice ever. Please start providing iron in every room.

« Great location & breakfast »

Having stayed at the Novotel Munich airport the days preceding this trip I was keen to compare the two hotels. The breakfast was excellent, once again. The location also really good and in close proximity to some great restaurants and ice cream shop. The pool was clean and environment warm. The bedroom was very warm. We asked why the air conditioning was not having any impact and were told to open the window. We insisted that the air con was not working well, and were told it was probably because everyone was trying to use it at the same time in the hotel (which is bizarre). We found in general the staff to be very friendly, with the possible exception of the reception team. I understand that they have to deal with many customers during each day, but the attitude was a little cold.

« very nice design in bedrooms and swimpool »

well decorated and comfortable bedrooms, pleasant common areas, pretty swimpool and welness area. reception staff was attentive and kind, some kids-oriented facilities were fun. location is some 20m walk from city centre so it works well for exploring the city without being in a busy/noisy area

« Good but not perfect »

I always choose Novotel whenever i travel with family , this time i stayed in Novotel Vienna 3 nights and Novotel Munich 3 nights. As i mentioned on my TA’s review i arrived at 2:20pm and only got the room at 03:05p which is ok but i was hoping staff will atleast show some concern to inform me when the room was ready while waiting. My room was not cleaned in my first night and i was very disappointed when i returned at 9pm and found my room dirty?? Staff only apologised and made me wait 35 mintes with my 2 kids before tge room was cleaned!! I was again expecting them to show concern and at least offer us a drink while waiting !!! Its all about shoing that you care. Breakfast was great and Amira was awesome. Staff at the reception were friendly but its was just the extea mile that make guest feel at home. Regards Mohamed

Very comfortable and quiet rooms, despite the hotel was really busy during our stay. The location is good and the center can be easily reached with a 15 min walk, or a short car ride. Rich breakfast and friendly staff.

« Could accommodate our needs by offering good solutions »

I arrived at 6:30 am and check with the receptionist when I can check in, it was told to wait for a few hours until having room available or pay a full night rate, I waited for 2 hours and got back, the answer was that I could pay Euro 30 and can check in; I continue to wait for 1 hour, a gentleman kindly asked me whether I have a membership card, I told him no, and asked him if I apply membership today, can I do early check-in, the answer is yes, and Applied the card and got checked-in. If I was told at 6:30 am, I would not have to wait for 3 hours in the lobby ( after over 20 hours travel).

« Very pleasant if I disregard the first night »

My first night at the hotel was a nightmare. Someone was constructing in the floor above me and I had to listen to hammering and moving of furniture until at least 1.30 in the night - was not able to sleep !!!. In the morning when I mentioned this at the reception I felt I was not totally believed in but I was promised a new room for the next night if I pack all my belongings and bring them to the reception in the morning. While having breakfast the receptionist came to my table telling that indeed someone had been constructing in the room above mine and that I do not need to move. - This was of course kind but I felt it was strange no-one offered me any kind of compensation for destroyed sleep the night before..... The room was quiet and comfortable for the rest of the week. Nothing to complain on the services either. Now when staring to make my travel claim I unfortunately noticed my company name and address were not correct on the invoice. Called your hotel yesterday and got an e-mail address ( h3…) to write about this challenge. - Up to this point of time ( more than 24h later) I have not received any response - again taking down my satisfaction....
