« Awesome Hotel »

I really like this hotel. The rooms are clean, location is perfect, very close to S-Bahn, and shops are around. You can walk to Deutsche Museum (will take 10 min). Service and food are fantastic. Recommending to try a salmon on breakfast.

« A very nice and conveniently located hotel. But under renovation. »

I liked how conveniently close to the subway this hotel is. And the size of the rooms, very comfortable. Unfortunately, one reason I booked this hotel in particular was the swimming pool, and this was closed. However, after learning that this was due to a fire in the sauna, I understood the situation. The undergoing renovation means some obstructions on the street, specially if you are a pedestrian. Overall, I would stay here again.

« Good but not as good as previous times. »

Just one thing. No English breakfast tea in the rooms. I said the same thing in the survey last time. English breakfast tea is at breakfast so why not in the rooms? Not as clean as before. There were dirt splashes on the wall next to the waste bin. The sink was smelly. Staff got our order wrong from the bar food menu.

« Good place but poor management. »

I was somehow deceived. The pool facility was closed due to a fire 2 weeks before and there was no e-mail warning the guests with bookings about that. I could have change my booking to another hotel if I knew. Local team offered me a 10% discount which I thank, and that was what they could do, and poor management missing to inform the pool issue on time to guests was not their fault. Still too many things I had to ask 2 times, too many appologies from Novotel team (ask two times for drinks before you get them, ask two times for additional pillows, etc.) The team does not seem to be focus on the customer needs there. Good new is they do not seem unwilling, just need some directions and focus. Hotel is new, clean and in a very convenient place to visit the city. The restaurant choices are limited but good quality and quantity.

The room was very clean and quite - ecept the ventilation system in the bathroom which was running all the time. That was anoying, even at night the ventilation didn't stopped.

« Very mitigated stay »

I am very disappointed in several things. First, the day after my reservation, the price of my stay on the same dates and under the same conditions was posted at 190€ less expensive. My first night being charged 290€, which becomes expensive especially since the hotel was not full that night. I was offered to be upgraded to a suite, but this was not possible because I was already booked by a customer. On the contrary, we found ourselves in a room much smaller than our last stay. I had booked thinking about our room last year, and paying much more and being in a much smaller room, I can say that this stay was not very good. For the price I paid, I expected much better, it was a very disappointing experience.

« Nice hardware design and environment! Software service is not catch up with... :( »

I lost one Metro card of Taiwan in my room which I use it for getting electricity. I leave it as the way I did in Holiday Inn Siegen just one day before I move to Munich. It's not really matter about it still have around 24 EUR deposit in it, but it is already not for sale anymore. I will probably not consider this hotel in the future any longer.

A one-night business trip, but I would certainly return again, having stayed here before. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is of a decent size with a useful desk and plenty of storage space. There is also a very large flat screen TV, but I did not even turn it on.
