« I felt very comfortable and relaxed »

Very friendly atmosphere, check in was quick and easy, room was quiet in order to relax after the long trip. A little problem was the service in lounge at evening. I ordered a icecream with chocolate but I received icecream with caramel and the red wine ordered by me was not provided. I had to ask for the wine a 2nd time. But the overall impression was very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Novotel. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and really have no complaints. All staff members were pleasant and helpful and quick to respond to issues. The location was very good for travel throughout the city. The room was quiet but for the hard closing of doors in the hallway.

Novotel's rooms are always nice and clean, the bed and pillows comfy. Really appreciate the USB plugins by the bed and the mini fridge, only thing they are missing is a small deck to sit out on and enjoy the nice Munich weather.

Worth the pricing, the stay was very nice. One of the only things I personally would have liked were different pillows. There were 2 pillows, one small and one large. If I used both, my head was too high, the larger pillow was quite hard so I couldn't really use that one on its own, and the smaller pillow was nice, but too small and shallow which made it feel like there wasn't really even a pillow present. Other than that, the room was great, the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I am beyond impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness, professionalism and level of service of the the staff on check-in at the front desk. I feel that I actually received beyond the usual standards, which I was extremely appreciative of. My room was ready at 8:30am and checked out by 12 midday the following day. Although the card coder was broken on check in and we couldnt receive a key, the staff were apologetic and as helpful as possible to let us in to our room. We needed the sofa bed made up which was actioned a lot faster than expected also. There was an issue we werent impressed with as about 3 times through out the stay, twice over night and once in the morning we had someone actually enter our room unannounced. Only the third time in the morning where I chased to look out of the room to see who it was and saw housekeeping walking away down the hall, this was actually very poor and didnt leave my partner feeling safe and secure in our room. No standard knocks were made or any announcement of who it was, but no one should be entering our room in this manner. There was not even any do not disturb sign available for us to put on the room. I checked out using express checkout and did not advise anyone of this concern during the stay. I was overall really happy with the service and experience but not happy at all about someone entering our room on more than one occasion throughout the night.

Rooms have been refurbished which is good but still not worth the extreme prices being charged. This is the most expensive stay I have ever had in a Novotel yet they provided minimal services. Particularly toiletries and bathroom toweling etc. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Novotel has been quite disappointing. Just to give some context, I booked a business suite paying ~280 euros/night for seven nights. Not sure if such kind of service is okay or am I having high expectations. First, this location needs more staff. There is no one to help with your luggage. After calling in room service for a bathrobe, no one showed up for several hours. Finally I had to go down myself to collect it. Next, after checking in online for seven nights in a superior business suite offering high speed internet, they gave me username/pwd for just 2 nights. Again, to get the username/pwd for the next 5 days, I had to go down to the reception at midnight after a long day. The "high speed premium wifi" gets me 1.6 mbps download speed and 0.15 mbps upload speed. What year is it again? Parking charges are 21 euros/night. They have typical american breakfast which is not bad. The pool and sauna are a good plus. There were kids diving even at 10pm so you can try your luck. Steam room was out of order. The fitness center has a few cardio machines, some dumbbells and a multi-exercise machine. You can get a basic workout done. It's close to the riverfront so quite convenient if you want to go for a run. Would probably stick with hilton next time.

Easy check in with very helpful staff on reception. Good size room with everything that was needed. Well positioned near the town in a good area, however works next door meant there was a lot of lorry traffic quite early in the morning, however this was only an issue because we had our window open at night.
