« Great Choice »

We had a conference for 18 people at the hotel and everyone enjoyed their stay. The Novotel team was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking process and always ready to react even in last minute changes. Would definitely recommend the hotel for a business event.

There was no fridge in the room. The rooms were too minimal. Comfort but without any charm or sense of being pampered.

Reception personnel was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and nice breakfast. The big but and not so positive surprise was to see the first floor hallway carpet filthy as I have never seen in a Novotel or similar class hotels.

« Nice standard Novotel hotel »

The hotel is located a bit out of the city but easy access to the city by the train. The hotel is a good standard of typical novelty little bit dated ready for a fresh up. The hotel reception (duty manager?) was very welcoming and professional was a good credit to the hotel. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of cold and hot choices.

« Nice hotel and personnel but room was not quiet one as I requested. »

Everything was nice and OK, except I requested quite room but I received room (I think it was room no. 113) just above the entrance door. I hear through the night small noise from under the room. Room was also just side of elevator hall and sometimes quite noisy by talking guests.

I had 228€ stolen out of my wallet that was in my bag for the time there. I left it on the bag on the chair in the room. Inside the bag there a smaller bag that was zipped just like the bag was. So the cleaning lady has gone through all my stuff - very unpleasant to think about. I discovered it as I arrived at the airport - emptied my entire bag to be sure. It was done in a very sneaky way - leaving some cash in my bag - waiting me to doubt myself and be confused about how much cash I carry. I called the hotel right away and was told they would look into the case and call me back the following day. they didn't so I called them in the evening and was told once again that I would receive a call. I had to reming them per email the following day to call me. They excused them selfs by saying that, that message has not been passed on. and told me that the only way I could claim my stolen money to the insurance, was to have a police report - but a police report had to made on the same day with me present. had the told me as I called from the airport I could have Gove back, as the hotel is a 20 taxi ride from the airport. Now waiting to hear from the manager.

I would say it was not good. I didn’t find the reception staff polite. Whenever I asked or enquired about any thing the reply given wasn’t proper. Infact when I enquired about Accor points then also receptionist was like have you filled the tags with appropriate option if not it automatically gets donated. I would have accepted a better reply. ( out 9 tag infact on the last one I checked the option also but there was no details in the system) My expectation was when I have not used the tag, room service people should change the towel. In a 2 week stay only once the towel was changed, for this I informed the receptionist also. I am vegan and at restro you don’t have vegan options but that’s alright, I had a packed food and asked for warm it up in microwave he did that but again he was like today it’s ok but we don’t do it normally. When a person stay at Hotel for more than 2 weeks he looks for the comfort and facilities.

We feel the accommodation was sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was very good and had everything we could have wished for. Had a meal in the bistro in the evening which we were very disappointed in. You may want to rewrite the English description so it’s more accurate as chicken sticks turned out to be bits of poached chicken covered in mushroom sauce. The wheat risotto was unfortunately tasteless and looked like porridge. A little surprise was also the mustard and onion mix on top of the Angus steak! On the plus side, the spaghetti bolognaise was lovely as well as the staff.

Efficient but slightly indifferent staff at check-in. At breakfast on Monday morning, around 7:00 am I counted 5 other guests in the dining room, so not busy at all. After 5 minutes, I had to get up and go and ask one of the waitresses if I could have a cup of coffee. I think that service could be more attentive.
