Quite underwhelming, multiple issues. From very late check in even for silver members, to heating and card problems... Booking Novotel Mitte in the future for me is highly unlikely on next business trips.

Our technician will check the air condition in your room to fix the problem. Due to a software problem by our telephone provider we had a breakdown for several days. Please accept our sincerest apologies for that incident. The regular check in time is 3 pm. Unfortunately it was not possible to check in your room earlier, the hotel was fully booked the day before. We had a great stay here. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was very good and the room was spacious and comfortable. A lovely walk in to the city over the river where there are museums and the cathedral and nice restaurants. Would highly recommend.

One good thing was the fact that the baby bassinet was already in the room when we arrived. The staff is rather unfriendly, i think they could use a smile. I also think that you should offer breakfast at a much more reasonable price to guests.

We stayed at the Novtel Berlin Mitte for our first trip to Berlin. When we arrived everything seemed fine like the normal Accor Hotel experience however once we got to our room the strong "Sunk" scent filled everything in the room. After about 10 mins of not being able to stomach the smell we decided to go back and request another room. The room we got was very dirty and unclean. And when the cleaning staff can to clean the room every other day we received or didn't get something. Wether it was missing the correct amount of towels or missing body wash. One morning I put towels on the floor specifically to get new towels and later that day when we returned the same towels we placed up on the rack. How do I know this? Because they were still wet from when I showered earlier in the day. Breakfast choices were minimal to say the least. During our trip the hotels credit card service was down which force my family to eat at other locations because the hotel could not charge my card because we booked online. The local metro was about a block away as that was the only thing this hotel had going for it. Would not stay there again.

The hotel is overall in a 3 star category at best, rather than the implied 4 star in Accor's online placement for the property. The check in was no doubt rather late starting at 3PM, even for Accor Silver members it was impossible to check in earlier. The room had a constant problem with the heating, after complaining more than a few times besides a magical thermostat combination (which never actually worked) it was never warmer than 18c in the room. And it was quite obvious the staff had no other solution to this problem. The solution was sitting in a woolen sweater in the room...During the whole stay also the hotel had problem with the phones as well as the credit cards not working in the restaurant... While the staff is always nice and do the best they can the hotel is sadly a let down for Novotel brand. For such a wide offering in Berlin our booking averaging over 100 euros a nite (no breakfast included), was truly a disappointing experience. While regularly using Accor Hotels for my business trips, I'll be skipping this address on my next Berlin trip.

Not first time to use NOVOTEL (not this one) and other ACCOR HOTELS. Disapointed with MENU at NOVO 2 restaurant. You push the guest to go around to eat. Nothing about fish except salmon, NO ANY SOUP, expensive wines. NO WIENER WURSTEL (or similar) for breakfast ? Staff was nice and polite. Romm was OK except modest and old towels. No swimming pool or jakuzzi.

The staffs at the reception were really nice and kind. The location of the hotel could not be better. It is located in the island of the museums. The museums can be easily reached on foot. Regrettably the sofa bed in our room is sunken at its center, which made my back ache.

The room was spacious enough and clean, sleep quality was very good and personnel was extremely helpful. One day there were a lot of people at breakfast, so there were no empty seats, we had to return to the room and come again. Also, there was no shower gel in the bottle on the wall in the shower cabin the first day, and we had to use the gel from a small tube, which was the only one for the two of us. Otherwise, everything was fine. Would probably stay here next time, when in Berlin,

The room allocated to me is very small - the smallest on the floor according to the floorplan-, from a 4 stars hotel I was honestly expecting a better service. Breakfast is nice but could be improved: for example smoked salmon ran out and wasn't brought anymore

A very nice experience staying at Novotel Mitte. Good, clean hotel and rooms. Good breakfast, though could have bit more vegetarian options. Easy and seamless check-in and check-out. Good location, not too far from center and with easy and close to bus and metro. The whole staff was very nice and very helpful.

Good welcome, clean room although a little cramped for 4 people, brilliant breakfast and great location. Overall a great stay. Bathroom clean, ceiling paint peeling off but nothing bad that affected our stay. Room a little warm even with air vent on
