I was in an executive room this time. It was a lot comfier. The pillows were fab. But there were sticky coffee stains on the bedside. Sticky patch on the carpet. 1 chocolate was missing out the pack which I did tell the front desk 'they must gave forgotten to replace the missing one ' - which I find disgusting as the person before could have fingered the one left behind. There was also a used coffee pod still in the machine. Not the usual level if cleanliness

I have stayed at this Novotel several times and always found it a good experience. Unfortunately the room I stayed in this time was not as good as previous and the carpet was extremely stained and unpleasant. Also the quick check out (drop room card) option seems to have been removed which meant that I had to queue for check out which is not as convenient.

I was greeted by member of staff who didn’t appear to know where an allergy guide was kept, and then after repeatedly explaining I was a celiac I still had normal bread come on my plate, also a male member of the bar staff thought it was appropriate to knock on my door regardless as to me being a lone female traveler at gone 11:15pm because I hadn’t signed my bar bill, even though they had my room number and a credit card as a preauthorised payment

When i spoke to the gentleman who checked us in he spoke quickly and it all seemed rushed. He didnt explain anything about the room so when we finnally found our as we didnt know what floor it was and had to guess as we wasnt told. We didnt know how to work the privacy glass in the bathroom and took us a while to figure tht one out also. When i booked the room i booked one with breakfast and was told we had to pay extra for tht. In the room tje cups a saucers were full of dust and had to wash them before we used them. As we only stayed the one night fought it pointless to mention and carried on. To top it off whe i went to check out the lady said u could have fast chexked out which i didnt know and also charged me 12.50 for parking which i was told was paid when i checked in. Which came as a shock. She kindly removed tht. I ended up upgrading my room which personally believe that was all the guy on the check in day was bothered about. Didnt turn out as nice i would have liked it

Main issue was the uncomfortable sofa bed my son slept on when he stayed with me. Also, toilet had no hand washing facilities. The cafe/bar was good and all the staff were very polite and helpful.

We stayed for three nights when visiting our daughter. The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel modern and stylish. Our room on the 2nd floor was very comfortable and equipped with everything we need, it was hot and the fridge in the room was much appreciated with cold bottled water replenished daily. Fabulous position close to river/canal where we enjoyed quiet walks with our dog yet within easy walking distance to the centre. Can not fault the hotel which was also excellent value for money. Will be staying here again when we next visit Leeds.
