« Clean, modern, well located, with nice staff »

We all liked staying att this hotel. It was a nice, well kept room that was quiet. Good breakfast. The pancake mashine was popular, maybe so much that another one would be a good investment! The staff were all very nice. The beds were comfortable, but the kids in the extrabed (sofa) complained a bit about the pillows that were to firm. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again and recommend it!

I was very impressed that when we got to the hotel we could park in the car park out the back which was actually the IBIS car park. Then we were upgraded rooms, very polite and helpful staff. Very satisfied with the service as the price was relatively cheap!

« Nice venue, nice location, good room »

Had the pleasure of being upgraded to one of the executive suits (thank you) and was told that these had been recently refurbished. Everything was lovely, but two minor points - the 6th floor smelled strongly of damp plaster (presumably from recent work) so the floor needed to be aired much more (but assume this will clear shortly), and the new style rooms were a little too "open plan" - the toilet and shower both opened into the room with no other privacy. I think this was a little too much 'share time' for our liking. Location is great on the South bank as both east (financial) and west (Covent Garden onwards) are all comfortable walks plus usual trains and connections are all on your doorstep.
