Nice, easy access, great staff. Poor breakfast, bathrooms are outdated and in desperate need for a renovation.

« Problems with cleaning and conservation in general. »

I chose Ibis Piracicaba hotel basically due to location, known standard and brand reputation. Is possible to see Piracicaba mall in front of the reception desk, but to achieve the entrance was a large walking on the side was necessary. Unfortunatelly the room was not clean. Was totally possible to see the dust above all furnatures. I found a part of a luggage seal on the floor as soon as arrived. In my last day in hotel, the same part of the luggage seal was in the same place on the floor. The conservation of the room in general was really bad.

The bathroom of the first room we stayed was terribly dirty, full of urine on the toilet and on the ground and a horrible urine smell. We asked to move us. When we opened the door of the other room, it was impossible to enter due to the very strong smoking smell, and it was a non-smoking room! Then, finally, the third room we tried was apparently ok.

The room was very good, but got a problem on shower. When you take shower, water can pass through the glass door and so the toilet room has flood problem.

I was glad to find Ibis in Piracicaba to put on my routes while travelling by car. But there were many setbacks. The first attendant at the reception desk was almost rude (first time ever in Ibis). Another one was really nice on the second day, but told me I could not use my reward points at the desk, only by app, which after payment I found it was not true. The sink was clogged. The window at the room was awfully dirty, with bird s... There was long hair at the wall of the bathroom (I have really short hair...) So I'll only come back there if I really have too.

We´ve been staying at Ibis Piracicaba for a very long time and I´ve been leaving reviews telling them what could make an experience over there a bad one that was the bad condition of the sandwich maker. You could see a line in front of it with upset people waiting for their sandwiches because it could take a long time to melt a simple slice of Cheese. And we saw one manager after another arriving and leaving the hotel and the sandwich maker kept not working properly. This time while going to the restaurant for our breakfast I remembered the promise that the new manager Gloria made us to fix it . And voilá.... they fixed it!!! It can sound stupid to evaluate a hotel just because of it but to keep something broken or working in an inappropriate way shows how bad is a manager. For this and for the whole good condition of the Ibis Piracicaba we give a 10 to Gloria the today manager.

I was staying with this hotel because I had business in the city. I do not speak Portuguese. However, the front desk had people working who did speak English to help me. I always enjoy my time in this city, in this hotel. Food is fine. Rooms are simple and clean. CNN is available and so is wifi.

The lobby of the hotel is good. The restaurant is comfortable and the food good. Rooms are clean and suitable for a stay without luxury. Good location, but away from the main points of the city. It is worth staying in this hotel.

« Hotel was lacking very basic necessities / needs when considered a "hotel". »

To be honest, not very pleasant. The hotel only provides two towels and that's it; no small or medium sized towels. The outlets are ALL 220V (europe style) and thus most US appliances cannot be used. However, they do provide a transformer that weighs around 25 pds (11 kgs). Lastly, if you would like to use any internet stick (Roku, Chromecast, Fire) you cannot simply because the TV is bolted to the wall. There is no way of getting in the back of the TV. Also, the TV has been placed almost as the same level as the bed....
