« Rooms don't have the same standard as in Europe »

- Poor to no knowledge of English - Forgot to clean the room 1 day - let's of black hair when I arrived at the room the 1st day - holes in the blankets - Towels are like carton - Staff (restaurant) is not interested in their job, very de-motivated - Poor looking hotel, poor to no accommodation. Terras is not used neither accessible Although Yara has a contract with this hotel, I will not stay there a 2nd time. Kind regards Stefaan V. Procurement Change Leader Yara

Not as good as expected: a) During the reservation, I choose a King Size bed, at the reception, I also double-checked that and upon arriving at the room: it was a Queen Sized Bed; b) I order food and the meat was raw (bleeding) unable to eat it + the French Fries were cold and some overcooked. The only positive thing about it, was that both the guys working at the reception; the one that did my Check In as well as the one that did my Check Out were extremely courteous and kind.

It would be nice to have room service after 11 p.m, once the night flight from SP lands at 10:30 pm. I had to go to Ibis walking to grab a microwave sandwich and peanuts... Awful experience.

Standard Novotel experience (based on the room not possible to say where you are :)). Towels were clean but the the color was a bit worn out and greyish. NIce breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff at reception.

« Not what I expect from a Novotel! »

Toilet in the room did NOT flush properly. Complained at the reception twice. Issue was not resolved! Internet did not work properly in the hotel. Was not able to get a laptop, a tablet or my phones to work on the hotel internet. My colleague who was in another room on another floor had the same problem. Complained to the reception. Problem was not resolved. Instead the receptionist tried to tell me I was wrong and that I was doing the connection incorrectly, until he figured out I was connecting correctly and indeed the internet did not work properly. In the end we never got online! In a 4-star hotel I expect the towels to be soft and fluffy. Instead the towels were hard and old and washed too many times. The shower stall was not cleaned properly and showed mildew stains. The showerhead could use a good cleaning. Restaurant food both for breakfast and dinner, to include the choices on the menu are far below any level one would expect in a 4-star hotel!

« the hotel is too busy asking about my satisfaction but is not doing its job »

The hotel has no doesn't care if you are a platinum or a first day member. No special treatment and now the hotel is providing RPS instead of the invoice. Also my last check out was 26/07 and I'm still awaiting for the invoice. I need to report to my company and I need to call to the front desk and spend phone calls to get my invoice because you are not taking care about that. Later I tried to book a new room for this week August 9th to August 11th and the person in front desk gave a sh*t to my status saying that the hotel was full and no room was available, however just for curiosity I went to Accor Hotels website and for my surprise I saw that rooms were available yet. Totally disappointed with the service of Novotel Tres Figueiras.

« My first stay at Novotel Porto Alegre »

Bathroom wasn't clean. There was used toilet paper behind the toilet. Also, given the cold day/night heating wasn't working. I've tried to set the temperature to its max but no luck. Cold air was being vented through the room. I had to sleep with my cloths on under the blanket. To complete the bad experience, noise came from the guest above my room. It sounded like someone was running or exercising at 3 a.m., which is not normal. I ate dinner at the hotel and ordered a burger. Rustic potatoes as side dish where over fired/cooked and the burger was tasting burned too. Arugula was bitter due to over cooked meat. The only reasons I picked this hotel was because of its proximity to the customer I was visiting and a known hotel brand. Next time I pick another hotel.
