Rooms were not super good, bed was not very comfortable, Air conditioning didn't cool the room (It didn't seem to work correctly) and Internet connection was really bad.

You need to improve breakfast and WC water pressure. Wi-Fi is super slow and unstable. TV does not allow to plug in any device.

This hotel is located downtown Porto Alegre close to hospital building. This location is a bit away from any entertainment or shopping area. Rooms are old-fashion, but clean and functional, common areas are way better sophisticated and breakfast is the highlight.

Great location, clean and organized hotel. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant. Only minus was the lack of locking system for the windows. Traveling with kids I was surprised windows in the room could not be locked. Also no safety protection in the corridor window, frequently open. Garage at the hotel with valet. Worked perfectly. Very convenient.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Comfy beds, nicely stocked mini bar and a clean bathroom. The hotel staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate in English. Food from restaurant was nice and reasonably priced. The gym was well equipped and the pool was nice and clean. My only negative was that the WiFi signal kept dropping when in my room on the 7th floor. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

My experience would be perfect, only if I didn´t have to pay for a parking. The fact I have to pay for a parking, left me with a bad impression of Novohotel, because you show me that is possible charging money for what amounts to an exaggeration. At the hotel diary the parking have to be considered.

We were in vacation and we chose the hotel mainly because of the swimming pool that was appearing on the website photos. However, even during the Porto Alegre hot summer days, the pool was nothing close to the photos we saw: the water was dirty, there were rusty spots all over the pool and part of the steps to enter into the pool were broken and in poor conditions. I have another booking for the same hotel and I am considering cancelling it because of this. I complained twice about it, but nobody found any notes about my first complain, when I was checking out. About the breakfast: even if there are many options, all kind of breads are too hard to eat, it doesn't look fresh. On the second day we got back to our room and found a baby crib placed close to our bed, we had to ask to the staff to get it removed and nobody knew why it was there. On the third day, nobody came to clean our room, even with the sign at the door asking for cleaning. The staff apologised but they were not able to tell why it happened.

The room is not new, there was a leakage on my restroom sink, the air conditioning is not good, the wifi is the worst ever, in the work area it doesn't work, so, what's the point? one of the elevators didn't mark my floor when pressed, I had to hold the button. My duvet was torn, the towels weren't the newest and I've been in cheaper hotels with better linen. The front desk people are ok, but not as nice as you would expect in a Novotel hotel. Ah, minibar is extremely overpriced and there was a expired kit kat. Like, it was perfect location, but I was expecting more.
