« Could have been a one of a kind experience »

While the settings of the hotel would most likely make it a thrilling experience (since it is located in a retrofitted convent or colonial house), I was disappointed with the bad WiFi connection and the fact that I was put in a standard bedroom, the last one down a long corridor, and was not upgraded as requested prior to the arrival at the hotel.

Only received 2 bottles of water even though staying 2 nights. The plug on my kettle in my room did not fit any of the electric receptacles. All staff were polite and friendly. Hotel is well located.

« CUSCO VISIT »

This was our fist visit to Cusco Peru. From the minute we entered the hotel, the Novotel personnel was exceptionally accommodating and made sure we felt as comfortable as possible (especially with the altitude change). Our family consisted of 4 members, my husband, 2 teenagers (18 and 13) and me. I didn't acclimate to the altitude as the rest of the party and needed oxygen more than once. The personnel patiently attended me and offered a Dr so that I could feel better (I declined). The rooms were immaculately clean and the hotel's ground were simply beautiful (the website pictures don't give it justice). My only complaint was the restaurant were the service was slow. You absolutely get the best value for your money here!

« Really great option in a fantastic spot and friendliest staff »

Fantastic 17th century building with a minimalist decor and lovely central patio where you can have breakfast along with Andinian music. High roof rooms, spacious and modern bathrooms make the stay extra special. Super friendly staff that is ready to help, give advice and even bring an oxygen tank at 4 am to the room. Loved it!! (If only I had booked it directly through Accord, I used another webpage and did not get my Accord points! Nor my stay counted!!!)

« Nice location, poor service, no A/C in my room »

The hotel is in a nice location, close to shopping, bars and restaurants and a few blocks from the center plaza. However, for the price, the service at breakfast was terrible, everything I asked for at the front desk they couldn't answer (like getting an incorrect room) and there was no A/C in the room, which I understand it is cold 75% of the nights, but when you are part of the 25% of the hot nights, it's miserable.

« Charming, historic and yet modern hotel »

This was a really lovely hotel situated only a block from the main town square. The building occupied by the hotel is reportedly 500 years old and it is beautiful with a glassed in ceiling main lobby area that is a dining room. The rooms have all the modern ammenities. There is a separate breakfast restaurant that has a comprehensive buffet and opens at 4;30am. It is ideal for both business and leisure clients.

« Central location »

We enjoyed our short stay and the hotel met our expectations. It's a charming building with lots of character in the public areas but the rooms are modern and reall comfortable. All staff we experienced were friendly and helpful. We only had a light dinner and very early breakfast so didn't try all the restaurants.

Staff were very helpful, hotel was comfortable, food was good and rooms spacious and clean. Only a few minutes from the main square the location was ideal and as it was on a quiet road no noise from people or traffic. All at a great price.

the roow was very clean and comfortabel. service is also good. i did check out at early morning about 5 am but i didn't wait at all. and the hotel was so close to main plaza. it was very nice. and novotel kept my luggage for a day that i visited machu picchu.
