My wife had a health inconvenient and we had to check-out one night earlier. When I went to check-out the receptionist only consern was to ask for my credit card to garantee that I was paying for the full reservation, regardless of why I was checking out earlier, more, he didn’t even ask why we were checking out earlier, just hasked for me to pay full. Besides the room was very noisy, we woke up at 1:30Am with someone hammering and again at 07:00am with some machine working. Novotel, never again.

Location was great but room was super small with no room to even walk! Bed was small too. Lots of noise at night and in the room! Breakfast was less than average! Hotel is very expensive for the quality it offers.

« Nice hotel in quiet area but still in the centre »

I would suggest a few possible improvements. Communication: I think the staff needs a system to manage arrangements for their guests. I had arranged for airport transfer but the follow-up was a bit off (taxi was not on time, not in the airport, not holding a sign and on checkout it was at first not known to the staff that I paid the driver directly). So a system to help the staff manage these things better would be beneficial. Noise: my upgraded room was directly adjacent to the restaurant area. There was only one door separating the two, which was insufficient to block/diminish the noise. It should be possible to add an extra door. The walls between the upgraded rooms are on the thin side, I could clearly hear hotel guests speak in the adjacent room. So maybe an extra insulating layer on the walls would be in order. On the plus side, the hotel is located in a nice spot. I had a good time staying there and was upgraded as soon as there was an upgrade available.

We were very pleased with our wonderful visit to your hotel. The atrium café was brilliant, the breakfast spread one of the best we've seen. Our room was clean and comfortable, overlooking a small courtyard planted with flowers. Having a laundry just across the street is very handy. The historic part of the hotel is very impressive, but we loved that the modern part is served by an elevator. Our room was in the modern part and was very reasonably priced. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and enjoyed our meals. The hotel is well-located near the museums and historic sites. The whole experience surpassed our expectations. Couldn't have been more pleased. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My stay at the Notovel of Cusco was amazing! I had a great time and it was mainly thanks to the members of staff, who are extremely professional, dedicated to customer services and genuinely nice people. The place itself is excellent, excellent accommodations, the breakfast buffet was diversified and very good, room was nice, bed super comfortable and the bar and restaurant places are really pretty too. Food at the restaurant was very high standard. I would highly recommend to stay at the Novotel if you are looking for a great place, with really nice and professional people and a hotel well located (4min walk from Plaza de Armas).

« Wonderful place to stay while in Cusco »

Everything was wonderful during my 2 recent stays at the Novotel in Cusco...except for the very wet scrambled eggs each morning. I personally prefer my eggs more fully cooked, but there was always enough other good things to eat. The staff is warm, inviting and very helpful. The hotel, itself, is comfortable and clean. I would stay again.

I was surprised to learn that my promotional rate did not include breakfast. I was also disappointed that when my room was cleaned each day, the toiletries were not replaced. I also did not receive a bottle of water daily. When I raised this issue with the front desk, they did provide me with one additional water and an additional shampoo. I always stay at Marriott properties. I stayed at Novotel Cusco for 3 nights and then I moved to the JW Marriott Cusco. My experience at Marriott was stellar. I was warmly greeted and welcomed to the hotel. I was upgraded to a suite and received a free breakfast buffet and 4 bottles of water! I will not be staying at Novotel again.

I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but i had severe altitude sickness and actually stayed 3 nights after a day in the clinic. The staff supplied me with oxygen twice and I asked them after two nights to get me a doctor who arrived in 20 minutes. I had to go to the clinic and the hotel looked after my luggage and kept a room for me although I had not requested or booked. They charged me the same discounted prepay price as my other 2 rooms. Throughout my stay the staff were considerate and very helpful. The standard room was good and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent in range of selection and freshnesss.

While the settings of the hotel would most likely make it a thrilling experience (since it is located in a retrofitted convent or colonial house), I was disappointed with the bad WiFi connection and the fact that I was put in a standard bedroom, the last one down a long corridor, and was not upgraded as requested prior to the arrival at the hotel.

Only received 2 bottles of water even though staying 2 nights. The plug on my kettle in my room did not fit any of the electric receptacles. All staff were polite and friendly. Hotel is well located.
