« Bad experience »

Staff not prepared to welcome tourists. Besides not speaking Portuguese, the three ladies who were at the reception desk during the evening shift were ALWAYS bad humored, poorly dressed, and impatient. One of the two elevators remained out of service during our whole stay. We’re used to staying at IBIS and expected the same quality, but IBIS Congreso Buenos Aires is not like the other hotels at all.

In bedroom= the toilet flush took more than half one hour to recharge, shortage of hot water in two out of five days at night, the shower box was leaking and wetting the floor, the towels were too rough, we couldn't keep the top pillow centered in the bed. In common areas, the elevator broke in two out of five days, at check out they took too much time to complete the payment using our vouchers, there were too much leaves and dirty in front of the main entrance. We were surprise discovering there is no frigobar in the bedroom.

Both reception staff and restaurant staff are very helpful and professional. Having a safe in the room is great because you can walk around with just the basics . Security and cleanliness are of a high standard.

My stay at Ibis Congreso in Buenos Aires was good, but I didn't receive the receipt for my stay and I need it badly and asap for reimbursement procedures at my company (this was a business trip).

« The 2 ladies in front desk. Morning shift ruined my entire vacations »

Zero will to help, the 2 ladies in the morning shift are terrible to be talking to guest, they should be imediatly removed or fired. Rude as f. I made my reservation on the accor website since im a member, he website charged me and the charge was reflected on my bank account. One of the ladies didnt even wanted to activated my two keys. Since according to her it was not paid yet.my wife literally almost kick her sorry butt. Everytime we pass trough thelobby she will roll her eyes. And every time the keys got deactivayed she will make us get in line (after check inns and outs) just activate the key. Accor do something. I will complaint on every media outlet in the 4 lenguages I speak until I see these 2 out of the hotel bussiness.

Excellent location near Congress and metro station. You can get extra discount if you are a foreigner using a credit card. Although it might be a little noisy outside, the hotel itself could be nice choice for travelers in terms of the price and performance. Anyway, the staff is enthusiastic and good English speaking.

I like iBis hotels, and have stayed in them around Europe and now in Buenos Aires. The main problem I have with them is their internet connectivity is very poor. They should just add a router password and forget the rest of the authentication.

The hotel has a very fair price relative to what it offers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to compliment especially the lady that hosted guests at the bar/restaurant (I don't recall her name, just that she was blond and mid-aged). She was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile and in a very warm way when we stopped there for coffee/tea. Amazing service.

Very poor management. My room was dirty and bed had been used, linen not changed. Window did not close properly so room was very noisy. Breakfast was correct but did not large variety of food. Location is good
