Everything from booking process to check in and out was smooth and hassle free. Beds were comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast and bonus was it was only $1.00.

The staff as always are very helpful and friendly. In particular I would like to thank Anna Vos for all her help with my last few visits. She will be missed while on maternity leave, however, I do wish her all the best and look forward to photos of her baby when she returns to work.

« Very comfortable considering how it was built originally. I watched this building go up when we lived closeby. »

When we entered the foyer it was cold and wet outside and inside was warm and welcoming and the young woman on the desk was extremely pleasant. We did going out for dinner as we did not realise that you offered dinner. We had dinner and a few drinks and it was pleasant. The only thing I found hard was having to step up into the bathroom, but then I have a mobility problem and was able to deal with it.

I found it difficult to sleep due to lack of ventilation in the room, having the window open was not an option as it was heavily raining. On one of the mornings I had to go without the included hot breakfast as the bays remained empty for over 10 minutes and I had to start work. The daily room service/ cleaning was lovely though the drains in both the shower and vanity are extremely grotty.

Having such a long delay for restocking the buffet and grotty drains is unacceptable and I will certainly be raising the issues with the team. I was also sorry to read about the lack of ventilation, you were actually in one of our rooms with a brand new air conditioning unit which should have allowed lots of air flow, so I will be investigating with maintenance to ensure that the unit is functional.
