This hotel suits us for business meetings which are held nearby. The walk to the station only takes a few minutes should one wish to go to the city. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms, Ibis style, are clean and comfortable.

« Great value »

Convenient to friends we were visiting. Excellent value for Sydney. Great breakfast for $15, including the best pancakes. Only downside was the odd bathroom, like a capsule in the room, and you have to keep the door closed otherwise steam sets off the smoke alarm... not ideal.

Generally excellent, but marred in hot, humid weather by an air conditioner which refused to work. The repairman who came to fix it was unable to do so. However, I will be returning next time I come to Sydney.

42 degree day and the air conditioner turns itself off basin wouldn't drain, I put that on the feedback from, but it wasn't fixed. it seems the feedback form wasn't looked at :( lovely, really friendly girl serving in the restaurant. I had a delightful chat with her. she suggested checking out the fireworks for NYE. :-)

« Air con was broken, toilet would not stop flushing nice staff but not up to scratch »

Aircon broken in room staying with 15year old daughter and 2 year old son. Staff managed to change rooms for us after a few hours however only double with fold out available. My daughter is the size of a full grown adult and tried to sleep in the fold out but was impossible so ended up sharing bed with me which was not what a 15 year old girl wants to do share a bed with her father. Toilet in first room also would not stop running after it was flushed. Staff were attentive but could only help so much given the lack of twin rooms available.

« Good location to M1, hard to sleep with tghe noise »

In summer you can open the window for sleeping however the noise from Cumberland Highway is too noisy. If you close the window and put on the air con it is far too noisy for sleeping. We took a sleeping tablet to overcome the problem. Breakfast was OK, nothing special.

We had a pleasant, comfortable stay. Staff were courteous and helpful, breakfast satisfactory and well priced. The pancake machine would bring us back by itself. Bacon was a bit overcooked but that is nitpicking as some people like it that way.

It was a warm day and the room was hot as there was only an AC unit which I had to turn on. The room never properly cooled down but as I checked in late at night I was too tired to request a room change.
