The room was wet! There was standing water on the floor and he bedding was very damp.

The room was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. They helped me enormously with attempts to reach my people through my computer and the hotel's computer which were both unsuccessful. They replaced my room phone, and then discovered that the phone's outlet was the problem. With a working phone, I was finally able to reach my contacts. The not-so-wonderful part was the COLD shower. When I got there, it was already set for the hottest setting, but no amount of coaxing got anything but very cold water from it - not even morno. Electric shower heads would solve this, perhaps. ( I've had the same experience at the Ibis Aeroporto Hotel in the past.) American Airlines paid for this, so I really have no idea about the value for money question.

The people from Reception were so kind and sincerely to me and helped me a lot with any info there etc.. I would like to say thank you so much for their attitude to my self, my warm regards to anyone there!! Just have one remark, in the morning it is very noisy by the maids staff??

Infrastructure Investment Required

Although the staff was kind and caring, the infrastructure was unacceptable. The shower tap fell in my hand and I was not able to open or control the shower temperature (room 461). The front desk agent gave me access to another room to have shower (room 471) where the same thing happened. Also, on Thursday Dec 13th there were no parking lots available – apparently due to an event – that caused me unexpected stress.

AC wasn’t good enough. Water from the shower had a weird smell. Room and pillows smelled like old. Keys didn’t work right either, we had to reactivate them every day. The lady at the check in is so unfriendly, she seems like she doesn’t want to be there. Breakfast at Novotel was very good, you can also use their pool (when they are not having an event there).

I think the Ibis Manaus Distrito Industrial could be more attentioness with the rooms: - Maintenance: Some rooms look old, or not so took care of. - Clean: More attention to that. - TV Channels: Could provide more options the clients - Power plug / USB close to the bed: In order to charge the phone during the night. I would like to emphasized I have 3 requested and it was promptly attended: - There were few ants on the table, and they were wiped out - Pillow: I have requested a soft pillow, and Ibis provide a very good one (I slept much better than the first night). - Print/Scan: I needed to print, sign and return a document, and the reception was very helpful on that.

I usually prefer to thing about process … So, in terms of check in & check out my personal experience was good … the staff has performed ok … no more comments … my room was clean and functional … I had my breakfast & dinner at Novotel and the feedback is good as well. In summary, I believe that the experience worth it.

Noisy and remote

Unpleasantly noisy. You can hear conversation and other activities from neighboring guests. I am definitely recommending my friends to look for something else in Manaus. The hotel is also poorly located. There's a shuffle to a mall, but it only leaves tue-sat at 7pm and returns at 9pm. No options on Sunday or Monday.

My experience was terrible, because of the room was really dirty, it needed some cleaning, the table needed some cleaning if you put your finger on the table it would leave a lot of dust. The bathroom was the worst, the bathroom stall was with mud, the glass was transparent but I could not see through it. Sincerely, it was one of the worst experience.

This unit is not same the other units, no have safe box in the room, you need put your objects of value in central safe box of hotel. The bathroom is old and need the up grade, the roof is poor, floor and tile are old compared other hotels. So, the bathroom was the negative point in my stayed. All else the same: cleanlinees, service , and location so excellent.
