Instructions to get to the hotel were not clear. The check-in staff was not immediately available, but they did let us get coffee for free. Check-in was reasonably fast. However, the room given to us smelled of dead fish. The room was exchanged, but we did not get a room with an ocean view as we had booked. The air-conditioner in the room made a lot of noise. The shower doors were extremely loud when opened or closed. The room was otherwise clean, but the mattress should have been replaced. The quality of the food at the breakfast was poor. Check-out was easy.

The best option for short stays in Castelldefels in terms of value for money. First of all, the hotel is wonderfully located, the train station and public transport stops, including buses to Barcelona (L95, E95), within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and quite comfortable, the famous Ibis’s mattresses are especially good :), a sweet dream is guaranteed. Friendly staff at the reception, daily high-quality cleaning, there is always cold lemonade in the lobby), a closed guarded area. The only drawback is breakfast, but there is usually no need for it, given the numerous cafes around and in the large shopping center Anec Blau, located across the street from the hotel. Near the hotel are two excellent supermarkets - Carrefour and Lidl. You can easily reach the beach by bus L95 (three stops in the direction to Barcelona). You can also easily walk to the beach along the Olympic Canal (walk for about 20 minutes), the path is beautiful, specially made for morning runs, there is a dedicated bicycle lane. I am pleased to stay again at this hotel.

They stay was nice but the rooms need a bit of maintenance. Also, the staff seemed busy doing duties so at times weren't around to let guests through the gate.

I have really enjoyed my stay with my family in this budget hotel. The hotel management was really kind and helped us with everything we needed from the breakfast to the transport information. We have booked at Ibis Castelldefels with the clear intention to have a bed to sleep and a clean bathroom and we have not missed anything as the hotel has a good size rooms with all services you need. The hotel is very close to the bus station which bring you every 10 minutes to the beach with a very cheap bus ticket. The only improvement I would implement in this hotel is hiring more people as it is not acceptable to have 2 people for reception, kitchen, breakfast, bar, etc when the hotel run at 100% occupancy everyday in high season. It does not give a nice picture to see receptionists struggling with 10 check-in at time and at the same time to go to prepare refreshment at the bar. For the rest, well done. Definitely advisable for anyone. Thanks and see you soon

It was an wholesome time in your Hotel right from the first day till last day. Well coordinated having 100% sound breathable airy environment in the hotel with effective tidy up room daily before embarking from training center. Hospitality was perfect and e.t.c.

The bed was good, but unfortunately the AC was broken and was very noisy when its on. The fact that there is no safe in the rooms, is not good. No where to keep your belongings in a safe place when not in the room. The staff was friendly, but only one spoke good English. The rest barely understood when asked a question in English.

Check in with the amazing delightful Eva could not of been better she was a star doing everything the lollies and lemonade I started to question why I stayed at SOFITEL Novotel MERCURE etc as a gold member But then like all fairy tales it fell apart the service at the bar from the young girl serving was rude she was a disgrace in her attitude my hamburger was too well cooked they returned it in the half eaten bun with a new patie my wife’s was ok air conditioner did not work properly bed was good. We stayed here last night before a flight out to NZ and didn’t want to get caught in traffic with rental car nxt time we will.

Tucked away, I wanted somewhere quieter, and this achieved that purpose. ibis quality, so you know the bedrooms, beds, showers... will be good. Some building work on the top floor, where I stayed, but that did not disturb me - and the trade on was that I got a larger room. Only problem was the Otis elevator, which did not quite meet at floor level, and the door was relatively aggressive in closing - it broke my watch strap. Surprise, because Otis is a good firm - this must be a cheap elevator.

It was ok, but the non-working A/C in June is not optimal. The "twin" beds were way too narrow for comfortable sleep. The mattresses which tended to slide from the bed didn't help as well.
