I will be posting a detailed review alongside with pics, docs etc on TA, but can someone contact me from Accor to know my detailed ordeal? This is my 1st ever negative comment! My original reservation wasn't tracked, 2nd one I made wasn't tracked either until it was but then I was denied check in as payment 'deposit' showed 0 balance. I reserved at a neighboring hotel (B&B), & when I was about to move there, the receptionists at Ibis Alicante asked me to hold as now they seems to be compelled to check with their central services. They confirmed that the money was deducted from my account (for the 2nd reservation no news about the 1st) & gave me the key to get into my room. But I had reserved (paid in advance) a room already by then & was told by the staff that my reservation is nonrefundable (so if I decided to stay at B&B) I will have to loose my money at Ibis. I went to B&B, they understood the whole situation, co-operated, refunded by amount! All this took 10 min. I came back to the Ibis Alicante & got into my room past mid-night only (i had urgent 2-hours work to submit to DOE). The total time-lost because of this was a 3 hours. I missed my Magreb prayer because of this & I am deeply saddened by that eternal loss! I am short on words describing my feelings to this. My perception of Ibis changed forever & I won't be selling that to anyone any longer.

Basic but adequate room and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. I was very upset that the alarm call I had requested the previous evening, in order to leave the hotel in time to catch a plane, was not forthcoming. This is unforgiveable.

I had 24 hours in Alicante and as usual the Ibis in Alicante looked after me well. The oly surprise was to have to give my passport details having done that when I checked in online. Good as usual

This Hotel is located in perfect location - very close to airport, city and sea, there are many beaches very close to Hotel. Room had some issues with the bed as it was sliding away from the wall all the time, but it's ok :) Great parking - fenced territory. Spanish breakfast. Staff very friendly - Alicia was always smiling and helpful, our Spanish language isn't the best, but it's ok, Alicia was able to speak english at no problem, Carles also speak english without any problems.

Extremely bad location, one bus by dozens minutes, no working A/C, any restaurant or convenience store or even vending machine around the place. Despite to check-in online a day before we need to wait in the recetion desk 10 minutes because of recetionist phone call (5min) and sececond standard check in (5min). There was one electric plug out of order in our room and the next day one phone was uncharged ... before of 6h journey. I'm a regular costumer of AH but this hotel is the place that I can highly NOT recomend!

The service was good, rooms appropriate for the price level. Could be cleaner (stains on carpets, hair on bed and shower), the walls need new paint. Pizza from the freezer (not hand made) for 9.90 Euros is far too much. No family rooms available (only for 3 people - means a family has to have ONE child only?!), so we had to book two rooms for the four of us. Good parking in front of hotel.

Booked the Ibis Alicante again as an overnight stay for early flight. Normally a very comfortable stay, however this time the room was far too hot as the AirCon has not been switched back on.
