Nothing detrimental to state, lovely room, sea view, helpful friendly staff, good food...great shower..comfy bed...everything to make an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend. Only negative was TV... UK?USA programmes dubbed in Spanish & not able to amend to cancel Spanish. 3 channels available in English and they all news (French....???_) That was only negative to my stay.

« Very convenient to airport. »

We needed a hotel which was close to the airport as we arrived on an evening flight. This hotel was perfect in this respect. Also ample parking was available and a no fuss reception area all suited the occasion.

The breakfast at the Alicante IBIS is so good, we called in for it at 6.30am whilst waiting for friends to arrive from the uk. We didn’t on this occasion stay in the hotel.

« Handy for the Airport »

Landed at Alicante late and booked this Hotel for one night. 10 min drive from the Airport and easy to find. Comfy bed and good bathroom. Nice view of the sea in front of us when we opened the curtains in the morning. Good buffet breakfast and helpful staff. Would stay again.

« As expected but not for wheelchair users »

My stay was complicated by my difficulties in accessing the room with a wheelchair. Obstacles were the extreme weight of the fire-door to the room which had to be pushed at the same time as manoeuvring over a track in the floor - impossible! I was disappointed by the choice of meat dishes. I had been looking forward to having an entrecote(which had been delicious on my last visit). The frites were mushy and unpalatable. The Rioja was fine. The reception staff were efficient and took trouble to get me a sympathetic taxi-driver familiar with the airport assistance system.

Check in, fast and good Room, clean, good bed and what is needed for a night sleep. Good value for the price. The only complain I have is the speed to get something to eat. 2 people is not enough to handle all functions in a place like that. This situation create irritation and negative comments.
