Very happy with our stay again at this hotel. Breakfast was great. Room was fantastic. Only thing was the fan in the bathroom made. Humming noise all the time. Apart from that it was very good.

Although I had phoned to check two days in advance and was assured that we had a room on top floor overlooking car park this was not honoured. Problem with your system and we were allocated wrong room at rear of hotel for first of three nights and it could only be corrected for remaining two nights although we arrived early enough for action to be taken. Sorted satisfactorily next day by Vanessa and Greta. Otherwise all ok. We have stayed here twice a year for at least 14years so it must be OK!

We had a very good 4 night stay at Ibis Wellingborough. On arrival there was some confusion over our requested room requirements. This was immediately dealt with by the staff member and we were also offered a complementary drink which was a very nice and welcome gesture.The room was clean and bright and the decor of the hotel is lovely and modern. The buffet breakfast was excellent, so overall a great weekend stay.

Interesting new way of checking in to this hotel. The front desk has gone but the check-in experience was quick and effective. Rooms we had booked were clean. The room on the car park side of the hotel was very warm yet the room on the other side was quite cold. Don't know why. The cold water in the bathroom sink was very slow running. You had to turn the tap many times to get the water to come out any more than a trickle (rooms 214 and 225). The bed was comfortable and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other guests

Well presented room. Everything worked. Comfortable beds. Only minor niggle was very stiff door. Would use Ibis chain more if all had proper twin-bed rooms.

« Good room - very odd reception »

Room was clean and comfortable and had good night's sleep. Don't understand why there is no phone in the room to contact reception or why reception has no proper desk and again everything is done on phones. Made the whole process slower than necessary and when we ordered a drink even this had to be done on the member of staff's mobile.
