Parking and check-in good. Room a bit stinted and cold (not in temperature, but almost echoing and repelling). But in general ok. Two issues for improvement: 1. towl holder for bigger towl inside shower bay. Will get wet. Almost no place to put it outside the shower but still reachable. Could easily be installed far above toilet tissue rolls (shower separation wall, easy to reach, no electric installations in this wall). 2. pillows very firm....almost uncomfortable Breakfast a bit meager. English breakfast ok (warm: bacon, beans, egg,...) but apart from that only one block of cheese (ham was out).... Ok, apart from those minor points. Friendly staff!

Person on front desk did a great job and remembered I needed a VAT receipt which she presented to me personally as I left breakfast. Breakfast disappointing - e.g. scrambled egg sitting in a pool of water.

Everything was fine until we went to bed. I asked for a quiet room and the opposite happened. There was a group of teenagers/early twenty something staying in the rooms near/next to us. They were making a lot of noise until 4.30 am. We hardly got any sleep and no one from the hotel quiet them down - management invisible as usual. No one on reception in the morning to report to. Will not be staying again.

Nice pleasant atmosphere and ambiance, front of house and reception really good. I had a problem with my room which I reported daily and wasn’t resolved, not like Accor I’m use to especially being a business member and a platinum customer In saying that I’ve rebooked for four nights next week instead of booking into the Ibis in Northampton fingers crossed I’ve made the right decision
