Booked family room for 3, only double bed was ready on check in, had to ask for sofa bed to be made up with bedding, dealt with quickly but should have been ready on arrival. Room card also not working on arrival and was told by reception staff this was because I kept it near my mobile phone, everyone has a mobile phone these days !

stayed 2 nights consider £12.95 for a reheated pizza and £12.95 for a burger and fries expensive. Also a pint of beer at £4 also expensive. Not a lot to choose from food wise, had I not been so tired, I would have eaten elsewhere.

I wasn't happy with the taste of the cooked breakfast, particularly the scrambled egg and sausage. Would have liked to have had some hash browns and mushrooms as a choice.

We were staying one nght whilst attending a nearby college reunion - staff were friendly and informative - rooms slightly larger than average for an Ibis - only downside was at breakfast - only one type of eggs available (scrambled) no choice at all - generally though a first rate place to stay

« The worst hotel experience I have ever had. »

Arrive and was given a key card, went to the room at 2am to a naked couple in the bed. We quickly closed the door as they yelled at us, went back to reception to them be given another card and yet again someone was in the room we had opened with a key! We got a simple apology and that’s it. We then got placed on the ground floor not filled with confidence that we wouldn’t be disturbed by other people being given the wrong key card. Then throughout the night we were woken up by a barking dog that you apparently allow into the hotel. We then received an email stating we could have a complimentary breakfast that we may have accepted had we been told about this in person instead of viewing it for the first time in the taxi on the way home. When asking for a manager I was told that there wasn’t a manger in. That to me explains a lot. How can you run a hotel without a member of management on duty. Ridiculous. Furious I paid to be honest.

I am extremely to read this review, usually the team are very good and we usually receive positive feedback, it is clear on this occasion that two of the team have had a mix up with the rooms which ultimately led to you been given the wrong room not once but twice and this is completely unacceptable. I am sorry the dog disturbed you, Ibis is a pet friendly brand but all pets should be con trolled by their owners. Although management are not on site 24 hours a day, the team are able to act as duty manager and should of in this instance. I have issued a full refund. « We where very happy with our stay at the ibis hotel. »

Staff very friendly, food was very nice. Our room was clean and the bathroom was great, bed was very comfy. Plenty of parking. The only thing was the carpet was very dated but other than that very happy with our stay.

I only stayed for one night on business but I found the hotel experience to be very good. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The check-in and checkout was performed online, so it made for a relaxing stay.

I stay at this hotel a lot when travelling to Preston for work. Never really much to complain about. This time I accidentally got given someone’s hotel room, not realising for about 10 mins until she came to the room and asked me if everything was okay! the lady said our names were familiar.
