It was amazing. Same as it was seen on the internet. 1 thing is that I put down for 2 single beds and got a double bed. This wasn’t really a problem but would expect to get what I put down

On arrival friendly helpful staff assistance. Good security when accessing rooms. Evening staff polite and offered assistance if required. On departure asked if we had had a comfortable stay. Only downside of visit was the use of the area at the rear by the restaurant doors being used by smokers making the room smell of cigarette smoke when the window was open.

Our beds were not made, the bathroom floor was dirty when we arrived and remain so until we left Our towels were hung up but they still got changed when there was no need The staff on reception were lovely and very helpful

The staff were really friendly and the reception "area" better than last time, I really do think its better to have someone to greet you at reception- last time there was nothing at least this time there was a desk. The room was a nice size, although a little tricky to get super warm, and the bed was very comfy. The room did look at little tired, and the noise insulation is only ok, you do get quite a lot of door noise from outside when the doors close. Breakfast was fine, love the nice bread for toast!, cheese options less good than last time though. All in all a good budget style hotel that looks nice at reception, has welcoming staff, but ultimately is looking just a little bit tired in quite an old building.

It took 5 mins to get any hot water in the bathroom and using the shower was downright dangerous either freezing to boiling, I bought some wipes and cleaned the concealed gunk off the metal fitment on the toilet seat fittings myself, disgusting the room was ok but the carpet also was disgusting I don't know what was on it but I would not put my bare feet on it. The room was quiet but needs a deep clean and a decent bed installed, and for goodness sake put a bin in the room!! all our rubbish had to go in the bathroom bin. The couple of staff we saw were pleasant and I suspect they are not given enough time to thoroughly clean the rooms to a high enough standard that people expect.

« A very warm and enjoyable place to stay. »

This is the third or fourth time of staying at the Ibis, Lincoln. It has always been a pleasure and good value for money . However this time although a pleasant stay, the reason was to attend the funeral of a beloved relative and so the pleasure was dampened somewhat. Since that relative no longer resides in Lincoln, it is unlikely that we shall visit again. We shall however use Ibis Hotels in other areas where we may stay. Thank you to all for making our visits so pleasurable.

Hotel was pleasent, light airy and most of all clean. The room was more than adequate for a nights stay. The bed was warm and cosy, additional pillows were provided as well. The lights could use a little TLC as the bedside light was loose. But still functional.
