This is our fourth stay in the Lincoln IBIS which is always our preferred hotel for events we attend in Lincoln and Newark. It's always comfortable, quiet and the service is excellent. We're looking forward to our next stay in August

We have stayed at this hotel so many times it is difficult to think of anything new to say.It is unusual in hotels to find the same staff each time you visit over a number of years and this adds to the friendly and pleasant atmosphere-as long as they maintain a healthy supply of gin!

Great stay but no vegan options for breakfast. The staff said that if we had rang beforehand they could have got some vegan options in for us. Perhaps this should be on your website then we would have made prior contact.

« Noisy fire door and a tatty room take the edge off a good hotel. »

Hotel reception and check-in was good. The room was in need of a refurb, worn, drab looking carpet, cracked floor tiles and cracked seal around the shower tray in the bathroom, but as I was only staying one night, I could put up with that. Was woken up twice by a huge bang that shook the room. This turned out to be the handle of the Fire Door in the corridor banging against the wall to our room. That resulted in me having a poor night's sleep, not the ideal preparation for a busy day!

One of the quietest hotels I've stayed in except for Saturday night when what I assume was a stag party. One raising problem with management we were moved floors quickly. The rest of evening / night was again quiet. To claim the hotel had a restaurant was far from the truth. It was no more than limited bar snacks. We were not happy we had too go out every night for a proper meal. Had there been a restaurant overall experience would have been much higher.

There was dried ejaculat on the pillows and all over the bathroom, Staff when i complainted thought I was making it up then offered me a free meal and it wasn't even cooked, Lastly I went back up to the room and there was a pile of human waste behind the door My wife and I are lost for words

We booked through Booking.com but Ibis could not find the booking. It took quite a while to sort it out, sadly, having had a very busy day it was inconvenient. The room had a dank smell when first arriving. The shower was so stiff I had problems turning it on. Other than that the beds were comfortable and the staff helpful.

After investigation i can see that your booking does indeed show on booking.com however it was never received by the hotel. I believe this may be technical issue but as to whether the issue was at our end or booking.com I have no way of knowing. I am happy to hear that staff did arrange for you to have a room and we do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you on arrival. Only stayed one night on the way to elsewhere. Did not arrive until around 7.30pm and came down to dinner at around 8pm. The restaurant was surprisingly almost empty. Obviously a stop off point for "yorkies" as the car park on arrival was almost full. Breakfast limited. Car park almost deserted by the time we left at around 9.30pm.
