Our customer satisfaction is normally very good, therefore it saddens me to see that your stay was met with some inconveniences. Our staff members are available 24/7 and more than happy to help resolve any reported issues to the best of their ability. Our staff members are trained in all fields, so we do not leave our stoves on just in case they are needed outside for check-ins, clearing tables, ect. The Ibis breakfast has a standard procedure that is practiced throughout all the hotels and friend eggs is not part of the standard breakfast buffet. However, we can prepare them, but it does take some time. I'd like to offer you a complimentary stay as a sign of goodwill. I do hope that you will provide us with a second opportunity to regain your trust, as this is not our normal standard. My stay was good, however, I was surprised by no sheet on the mattress as there was a quilt folded over to sleep on.

I shall be passing on your positive scoring to the rest of my team. Regarding the name incident, I am ever so sorry. I assure you no offence was intended, our staff always put 100% into making our guests feel comfortable and welcomed. However, I will be passing on a note to the rest of my team about it. Our beds are first layered with a mattress topper, then they’re topped with a bedsheet and finally the duvet. This procedure is a standardised practice throughout all the Ibis hotels in the country. The room was tired and grubby, the toilet seat stained yellow around seat and underneath, paint peeling from bathroom ceiling, door needs a coat of varnish or replacing carpet do thin in your feet and heavily stained

Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I know what to expect. I don't have breakfast as it is totally uninspiring. Two simple areas of improvement would be the towels - I judge a hotel on their quality and I have a better quality of towel to use on my dog than you provide for guests. The "drinking vessels" that are provided are the worst I have ever come across in that they often break when trying to remove them from the plastic cover. Charge £5 more for the room and address both of these issues - the customers would be delighted, I'm sure.

Perfectly fine overnight stay. Very good value. Lovely meal in adjacent Harvester. The staff were brilliant. Friendly and helpful at all points in our visit from check-in to checkout. Breakfast staff really wanted to make sure we had everything. Thoroughly recommend!

For £25 I am absolutely not complaining, but the only thing that stopped this from getting a 10 was the shower. It wasn't so much of a shower. More just a pathetic dribble of water. There was absolutely no pressure to to water at all, which we all know is what makes a shower great. But for £25 I'll definitely be back.

Check in quick and smooth, lady on the desk was lovely. Room was spacious, clean and the bathroom nice too with a big shower. Problem for us was hard bed made us not get a good night sleep plus the walls or floors are very thin could hear neighbours and people upstairs, very annoying when you already can't sleep but obviously that isn't the same for everyone's stay. Would come back anyway, didn't put me off.
