Have stayed in a few different hotels in Mechelen over several years. This was by far the best . Very comfortable bed and superbly located for the City Centre . Because of other eating commitments, we didn't have breakfast so I cannot comment on that in terms of value for money. Amusing Halloween decorations gave the entrance a nice topical feel. Would absolutely stay here again when next in Mechelen .

The hotel room was cleaned well and the interior looked new and well maintained. The location was great in the city centre and withing walking distance of the main sights. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of options and long serving hours in the weekend (until 11:00). The room looked nice, there was however some strange ventilation system in the toilet, which ended in the toilet, and the mattress had a very soft upper mattress as if you were lying on a blanket. Overall a very good hotel where I would definitely stay again.

Nice rooms. Nothing fancy but you have what you need, except for perhaps a softer and thinner pillow. Not everyone likes to have the neck bent at 90 degrees when they sleep. Bring your own pillow if you like it soft, It's easy enough. I just have one real complaint and that is that awful smell of cheap perfume that is sprayed in the corridors. As an asthmatic It's a nightmare. For others it just reeks. It just raises the question - What smells are they trying to hide?

Had a pleasant stay with my family at the Novotel in Mechelen. The service was good as usual and the breakfast is outstanding. Sometimes a bit crowded due to a tour group, but the staff was very accommodating to make sure we are comfortable. The location is in the middle of Mechelen, which is perfect. We will always come back.

Very satisfied by people working there, they are very professional. The very good quality of the food at the restaurant is also a point to highlight. On the other hand I have been disappointed by the quality of the bed which was, this is my own perception, not very comfortable. Moreover, it made noise. The metallic structure of the bed explains probably these two points.

Typically comfortable stay with consistently good breakfast and centrally located to the downtown area. Wifi was good which I needed for evening meetings. Only one issue was with room service. Had a great shrimp curry in the restaurant one night. Ordered the same the following night and received something different. The second night was oily shrimp, not the previous nights coconut curry broth. :-(

the Novotel is in a convenient location to the center of the town and train station, plenty of nearby places to eat and a good variety of cuisine. The checkin was a little slow because there was only one person on the desk and a group arrived at the same time as me. Staff are pleasant and speak good English. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and nice atmosphere. Room was comfortable and clean with the normal facilities. Overall was a pleasant stay.

Overall the stay at Novotel Mechelen Centrum has been good. The room is clean and well kept. The staff at the front desk has been very friendly and helpful. However, there are areas that can be improved. I felt that the biggest area for improvement is in the breakfast. The bowls and plates are generally quite dirty. In one morning I found a cling film in the fruit salad. I was also left with no hot water in the shower. It took 2 requests to have this fixed.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel quiet, so that I slept well. The food, especially the lunch buffet was excellent. Unfortunately the seminar room for our training was very cold - despite 23 degrees outside, the AC was on and very cold. Additionally, the sink / water sometimes had a funny smell.

Checking in/out all ok, room very nice, all ok as well. Breakfast at 8am was a disaster: there was no clean table to find and buffet was not at a Novotel level.
