Overall comfort was good, although we were evacuated at midnight after a fire alarm. No explanation staff and they didn't seem to know the mister point so most guests gathered at the front door. Bar service was slow. Check in staff however were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was one of the best we've had at a Novotel.

We felt that the location was excellent. The hotel was very clean but maintance was an issue. We expressed our concern having paid for an upgrade. We were moved to a suite which had an interesting bathroom, some of the walls had been removed leaving all our toiletries, wet towels etc on show. Fresh juice in the moring would have been appreciated but a good choice of food. Staff very attentive, pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast excellent. Staff very good. Disappointed with the room, for an executive sweet the bathhroom was very poor and in need of an upgrade. Shower partly broken, plug stuck in the bath, sealant and grout full of mold.

Good but all the reception and bar staff seemed to have changed since my last stay - this was a shame as the previous staff were very professional whereas this time the receptionists weren't very knowledgeable and the lady who served me when checking out didn't provide a very slick service at all, couldn't verify the bar prices on my bill and took ages to work out what was going on on her laptop. She didn't seem very caring or interested in me as a customer. Not a good front person or image for the hotel. The bar staff seemed tired and stressed, and nowhere near as good as the previous staff. There was a long wait for my food too.

It was a short but pleasent stay. Bed is comfy and the room has everything what it takes u to feel at home. Especially like the usb outlets. Check in and check out quick and painless, vast selection of food for breakfast. I would return again.

My stay was enjoyable, staff very friendly. I came to the hotel for a cipd course, My room had an issue with the window causing me not to sleep very well the first night as the noise outside kept me awake. This was resolved very quickly. Second night we ordered food as my family came to stay one night, they got the drinks incorrect and also charged me for an adult burger when I had specially ordered 2 children’s meals along with adults. This again was resolved quickly and very professional and the amount was reduced and a new bill provided. Food was lovely both evening and during the course at lunch time.

I had a very good stay. The room was very nice (free upgrade to executive, thank you), there was an excellent range of cuisines in the restaurant, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had 2 niggles, one minor, one annoying: after my meal on the first night, I asked to add a tip to the bill, which I was charging to my room. The waitress showed me an area on the bill that I could write a tip in, which I did (£5). The following night I did the same , but the waiter said I couldn't do that, they could only accept tips in cash and couldn't charge it to the room. I felt foolish; yet the first night's tip appeared on my bill (as a service charge - I don't know who the money went to) but the second night's tip, written onto the bill identically, did not. The annoying niggle: I phoned the hotel a week earlier to ask about the Q-Park car park under the hotel. The person on the phone said it was nothing to do with the hotel and I would have to book with Q-Park, which I did by pre-payment. I was therefore very annoyed when I arrived at the hotel to be offered vouchers for 25% off the car park charges. Why did the person not tell me this when I phoned? I could have saved over £15.

Good experience, only criticisms would be the lifts , not that wide when u have many suitcases on the trolley, and the width of the door to the room wasn’t wide enough to push the trolley in with suitcases placed sideways on the trolley. Once into the room the dedicated space between the closet and chest of drawers (that houses mini fridge and safe) which looks like it’s just wide enough for putting your luggage suitcase in it wasn’t wide enough for my Delsey suitcase. Apart from these issues everything else was good.

Being a Gold Le Club Accor member we got an upgrade to an executive rooms for all the family. Unfortunately our room had the Air Condition not working properly and had to switch to another room. What I liked about the service is that the Manager and his assistant helped us move our stuff. I booked a bit early to get a good rate but it was the opposite as rooms booked closer to the date were cheaper. The hotel had a nice breakfast and the rooms were spacious.

It was wonderful, the staff were extremely helpful and the bedroom was lovely, however I noticed that there was a lot of dust which set off my allergies. Not only that but when the room was made up Saturday I noticed that parts of the costume I brought up with me were strewn about, not at all how it was left. Finally, every time I tried to make a hot drink with the milk that was provided, I found it would curdle
