Generally very good. Negatives: - Toilet seat not clean (had something smeared on it that i had to clean off myself) - no slippers!!

As allways before very friendly service, excellent breakfast and nice new refreshed room. I would give a 9 or 10 but unfortunately the bed ”MyBed” and my back do not co-operate well. Allways after more than 1 night I end upp with a very bad back pain. And the bed is really the only thing that would keep me from coming back when in London.

For an executive room or larger room, it was still small. I also found the food selection both for room service and in the restaurant very limited/not very good. The staff on the other hand was very good.

Overall great hotel. But the room I was in was above staff entrance so I kept hearing doors slamming at all times of the night.

I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel St. James. All the staff were wonderful. I was particularly impressed with Lea (Leah?). She met me at the door whenI arrived and was so warm, gracious and accommodating and was so for my entire stay. Nothing was too much trouble. She is a gem.

The Sofitel London is clearly one of the premiere properties we have ever stayed at. The staff, from the Bellmen, to the incredibly welcoming attentive & informative front desk crew, to the hostess & line staff in the Rose Honey Restaurant, to the Bar staff at the St James Bar, to the Concierge and on-line staff we dealt with for our room & restaurant reservations, AND, not to be forgotten, the wonderful staff who took care of our rooms - ALL made us feel very welcome with unsurpassed service, from the moment we arrived until that sad moment five days later when our suitcases were loaded in to a cab to return home.

After a long break I came back to Sofitel St James and found it fresh, trendy, warm and affable. They really value their Platinum guests and I was upgraded to Junior Suite with enormous high ceiling and wonderful view on Waterloo Place and Crimean War Memorial. But what really makes this hotel unique are people working here, they all smile and greet you like a friend, from start to finish I felt special care and attention. Breakfast team, bar personnel, receptionists, bell boys were very professional and assistive.

From check on to check out the staff and accommodations at your hotel were excellent. Even when there was an issue with the hot water to our room that caused the water to be shut off the staff made a second room available to use for our stay.

I love staying at the Sofitel hotel. Staying at the London St James Sofitel was no exception. The service of the stuff was impeccable. The room was spacious and really comfortable, with beautiful amenities. The room was so quiet, surprising in a busy London location. A drink at the bar and breakfast in the restaurant was great too. Sofitel does things well, really looking after guests. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
