« The highest level of customer service! »

The property is in a great location. So convient to Tube and to many locations. Hundreds of restaurants and shops, and even grocery type stores within blocks. The attention to customer service with a smile is one of the greatest assets of this property. I had a few issues the first night which were attended to by the next day. The AC was excellent, the housekeeping lovely and the breakfast that was included with my rate, was excellent. If you do not have breakfast no worries, there are places within a block or two to pick something up.

Thé hôtel is in a prefect location ! You can go everywhere by foot. You have nice restaurants around the hôtel. Perfect for shopping, you can go easely to Harrod’s, also to visit the city, museums, Buckingham Palce, parks etc

« Great location, clean hotel »

Everything was fine - I wish the check in was quicker (too many questions! 10 min to check in is too long) - and the bathroom door opens in the wrong direction and took me 5 minutes to find the light switch. Did not really sleep well - the curtains didn't block out the light and the bed was too soft, but that's a personal preference...

This hotel is in an excellent location in London. You could not ask for a better picture book London location than this! The rooms are very well appointed and the staff are amongst the friendliest and most professional I have encounter at a London hotel (and I’ve stayed at a lot of them).

It was a great stay- if only you can improve service and toaster speed at breakfast. I think that the people at the breakfast table were great- you are probably short of staff. And the toaster for breads is just too old and slow.

This was a snapshot experience for us for my wife's birthday, booked as a surprise. I cannot fault a single element of the establishment. She was bowled over by the setting, the extra touches and the aftercare elements. We made use of the Spa, experienced all of the in-house restaurants and bars and the staff throughout our stay were amazing. We were made to feel extremely welcome at all times and the staff did a fantastic job helping the surprise plans come to fruition! Thank you to everyone who was involved in the whole experience.

Loved the comfortable bed and pillows, good selection of hot beverages and herbal tea provided by the bed (to promote sound sleep) that taste great. Appreciate the bottled still and sparkling mineral water, interesting snacks, and cheerful greetings when we leave and return to the hotel everyday. Pan-seared fish was delicious.

The service at the Sofitel St. James was impeccable. I was contacted prior to my visit by Remy with Client Services to obtain information to make our Anniversary trip extra special. The Concierge staff was extremely helpful with planning tours. From the moment we checked-in, the attention to detail was amazing. There was a lovely glass of Prosecco upon arrival and a cake in our room wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The hotel is conveniently located near Trafalgar Square and walking distance to historic sites, restaurants and shopping.

« Mixed Feelings!!! »

There were some issues with the room that was allocated to me as it had not been properly cleaned. However, the guest relations personnel and the Executive Housekeeper stepped in promptly to rectify the issues. The hotel needs to implement proper checks and quality control processes to forestall this sort of occurrence as it is not fair for a completely exhausted guest to be unable to unwind in his or her room after coming off a 12 hour flight from Asia. I love the Sofitel St. James and have been staying at the hotel for over 15 years so I would like the hotel to be consistent in maintaining the high quality of service and cleanliness that it has, over the years, been renowned for.
