I had a very good experience ! The staff was fabulous and very kind! I especially would like to compliment Sophie in the check in desk. Also the all the people working at the front door. My only complaint is that the way the bathroom door in my bedroom worked. It makes a huge noise when you close it. That was very inconvenient in the middle of the night when someone tried to use the bathroom .

« From start to finish, this hotel and its staff were incredible. »

I was very pleasantly surprised at how awesome my experience was at this hotel. I have stayed at the Sofitel in Chicago, and that experience was not great. I found the London staff incredibly helpful, and they did amazing little touches each day to make this a wonderful place to stay. Marine was very kind, and did her best to accommodate a slight mishap I had. The front desk staff was very efficient, and recalled my name and assured that I was having a great stay. I would love to come back. Highly recommend to all my friends.

We visit your hotel every Easter for an early break. We are are four pensioners from Bramhall in Cheshire who love London. This was our eleventh Easter visit to Sofitel St James and it coincided with our friends 50th wedding anniversary. So a very special occasion . I informed Sally Anne on the front desk who we have known since we started these trips and i have to say she was fantastic. She made them feel so special in many different ways and it helped to make what is always a lovely trip into a trip they will never forget. We always enjoy your hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly the rooms are lovely and the place is always spotless. We only have one complaint about the hotel and that is the full english breakfast. The overall breakfast is great but the full English is a disapointment. Usually served luke warm from a buffet the ingredients are poor. The bacon is very fatty (not back bacon) and who likes a cold sausage. Appreciate you are a French chain but with a little effort you can do better than this. This would not stop us staying at your hotel but it would be nice to have good "full English" One more time "your staff are amazing" and our thanks to Sally Anne Regards Charles W.

This is the second time I stayed in Sofitel St. James. Starting from reception to all the assistance in the room such as provision of iron board etc. are all quick and professional. Especially glad to receive service from Ms. Leslie during breakfast time. She is nice and very considerate to understand customer needs. It is a great stay in your hotel.

Obvious efforts were made by all staff to ensure our stay was most enjoyable. A special cake had been made for my partner, and left in our room as a Birthday treat. We also were given 2 glasses of good champagne in the St James bar. The room was most comfortable, although I have to say the temperature in the bathroom was unduly warm.

« Serene Experience in heart of London »

Overall, It was nice experience to stay in this hotel second time. The staff is friendly and the environment is serene. The breakfast was nice and plenty of food options. The meeting area in the hotel is well equipped and quiet. I love the bar in this hotel but on couple of occasions it was too much crowded, maybe popular with Locals as well. One thing missing in this hotel is the swimming pool.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The lobby area was beautiful, the staff who worked on the reception, at the spa, and in the restaurant were all incredibly polite and warm. The room was lovely and had a lovely view of Pall Mall, but there was no noise at night. I would absolutely stay here again.
