« Luxury, comfort and first class service. »

On our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary fruit juice and the most warm, professional chap who very efficiently checked in both myself and our friends. Our luggage was taken swiftly to our rooms and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful rooms with wonderful comfortable beds and linen, it’s one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a while. The rooms were very clean and incredibly quiet. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in a very relaxed atmosphere. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel and we will be definitely staying again in the future. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

« My stay was luxurious in every way. The staff, the physical property and the food was absolutely wonderful. »

I had the opportunity to stay for 6 nights. I was very impressed with the level of service I received from every staff person I came in contact with. Perfectly top notch! My room was lovely. I thouroughly enjoyed afternoon tea in the Rose room. And my omelette was cooked to perfection in Balcon in the morning.

The service was exceptional in all regards. Food - both in the restaurant and meeting rooms, was excellent. Great location. Rooms are perfect for jet lagged sleep. I am a repeat customer, and hope to return again next year.

Everything in this hotel is as good as can be expected: service, food and location. However, there was scarcely any shelf space for clothes. This would make a stay of more than a couple of days difficult.

I love the location, the hotel was beautiful, but a as Costco member, I felt I was assigned the worst room in the category. That proved to be true after they moved us to a better room in the same category. So, either the hotel was cheating us, or that is just what Costco members should expect which is paying $550/night will get you the worst room at Sofitel St. James. I will not use Costco for my next trip, and I have given them the feedback.

I was welcomed warmly on my arrival. Gorgeous room, incredibly comfortable bed and great toiletries. Despite being an older building the air conditioning worked perfectly, making the room a perfect oasis amidst the heatwave. Food and drinks were excellent- I didn’t try breakfast. Location could not be better.

Sofitel St James was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in all my trips to London. The staff are so friendly and courteous. There’s always someone greeting you and making sure you’re doing well. Housekeeping was great too. Rooms were cleaned quickly and evening turn down service was relaxing!

I have stayed at this hotel on a regular basis for a number of years. It is one of my favourite hotels in the World. I do not know how they recruit and maintain the quality of staff they do. « A beautiful and classy experience for a special vacation. »

First of all, the hotel is in a convenient, central location, and it is also beautifully appointed. The staff were all very kind and professional. In particular, Romane was very very welcoming when we arrived. The breakfast at Le Balcon was top-notch, and the staff there were all very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
