Positives: Great Location. We stay here because it is so handy to everything we want to do in LondonConcierge service was great - very helpful with taxi arrangement to airportNegatives:This is the fifth time we have stayed in this hotel while vacationing in London. Quality and service have declined unfortunately. Specifically- We preordered a bottle of wine for the room when we booked the reservation. It was added to our bill but not delivered- The bed skirt was dirty- The side comfortable chair was dirty- The drain in the bathroom was broken. I left a note asking it to be fixed. Nothing was done.- Glasses in the room were not replaced and we had to call housekeeping to get more- We were supposed to have our receipt emailed to us. It never arrived. At this price point, we were disappointed in our stay at the Sofitel and not sure we will return on our next visit to London.

We were particularly satisfied at your overall service delivery, particularly from the conseirge desk at all hours. Enjoyed the lively, helpful spirit of your staff including the breakfast room manager and bar staff at night. Also liked the European diversity of your guests and staff. I felt special and a welcome guest at all times. All staff took time to speak and assist me in anything I required. The only ones I had no personal interaction with was housekeeping as they were so efficient I never saw them but was reminded by notices on my door if I needed anything to just ring, very nice!

Luxurious, classical. This is a wonderful Boutique Style Hotel, situated in the Best Part of London, and such opulent upmarket furnishings. We were on a 3 month sojourn/working/holiday and so stayed in many places. Sofitel St James is our First Port of Call and Last Port of Call on our trip. Getting into the delicious bed, with delicious pillows, after a fabulous bath, is nothing better than Heaven. We love the friendly staff, and love the Bar it is so intimate and everything about this Hotel makes us ZING.

This is my first time in Sofitel hotel, the reason I choose here is because of the building that full of history, and the excellent location. Bed is comfortable, and the herbal tea every night really amaze me. But the most impressive thing is the thoughtful service, all staff are kind and welcoming, especially thanks to Linda. The alert test on October 1st morning scared me but I see this as a special experience. In general, everything’s just perfect, I would definitely visit again. 第一次入住索菲特酒店,选择这里一开始是因为我很喜欢这座建筑,以及地理位置优越,房内设施我最喜欢的是舒服的床,晚间送上的草本茶也很好喝。最重要的是贴心、及时的服务给我留下了深刻的印象,尤其非常感谢Linda,还有门童,可惜不知道他们的名字。 缺点是10月1号早上突然的警报测试,吓得我跑出房间,不知道是否应该通知会比较好一些? 总之都很好,有机会还会再来。

Overall excellent. The only criticism is that the service at breakfast was slow. We were poorly attended and having asked several times for some hot milk to go along with my wife’s coffee we eventually grew tired of waiting and left without it having arrived.
