We were given a really high room which meant we did get the quiet room requested. The room was clean and fully functional. The only negative points I had were: Only two small towels were provided. I'd expect two towels per person (I had nothing to dry my hair with) Only two pillows on the bed and a third one in the closet. Again - I'd expect two per person. But we managed and had a really pleasant time overall - the staff were really friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed at many Ibis hotels in past 15 years, and most have proved satisfactory, as Indeed Ibis Princess Street Manchester proved to be on this occasion. Evening meals tend to be not so good, but on this occasion the dinner was better than previous experiences.

Overall the experience was positive,we got a room on the top floor which we requested! The staff were helpful and the check in was very prompt and easy. Overall the hotel was clean but I have seen cleaner. The thing that let it down was that our tv kept not working in the room,was clearly faulty. We got a pizza and it was lovely,couldn’t fault it. Overall a good stay but what we expected for the price,pretty basic but did the job for what we needed.

I have stayed at this ibis hotel a few times before and it has always been OK. This time I decided to try the new evening meal menu, and I am pleased to say it was distinctly better than I had expected. Everything else was the usual Ibis standard which I am happy with.

The door would not close properly as the lock immediately locked outwards as soon as we opened it. When trying to close from the outside, the lock hit the door frame and wouldn't allow it to close. The door also would not recognise my room key when we returned at around 1am, meaning I had to go to reception to get this fixed. Might not seem huge but given that Ibis is a chain which in turn belongs to a larger company, it was disappointing to see such a basic fault in place.

A pleasant stay in a clean and functional room in the heart of Manchester for a very reasonable price.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this particular hotel and I've yet to be disappointed. Rooms are functional but very clean, staff are very polite and helpful and the breakfasts well worth the price. All in all you'd be hard pressed to beat the value and service at this hotel.

It was an easy walk to town and there were eating and drinking places in the area. The room was sound and the shower good. Some hanging space and a kettle for tea/coffee. For a longer stay I would look for a small fridge/microwave etc. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and good service. We had a drink at the bar one night and found it pleasant. The staff were organised and very helpful with a quick check in and help to book an airport taxi.

I found the check in service rather odd, with staff on mobile apps rather than a check in desk. The lift took ages to get to the seventh floor. The room itself was okay. The pressure in the bathroom shower wasn’t the best and the shower gel provided wasn’t that great. There were only two teabags provided for the room and I didn’t fancy waiting ages for the lift to go back down to get more, so I used the text service advertised on a flyer in the room and there was no response. The location was decent and the price for early/late check in/out was very good. I probably would stay again, although reluctantly.
