disappointing. tea tray was dirty. pillows too firm. bathroom had a sewer smell on the Sunday morning. only two towels provided. needed two hand towels in addition to towels supplied.

Accommodation adequate for a one night stay, however 1 set of towels for 2 people and room could have been cleaner. Dust and crumbs in corners and under bed. Suspicious stains on curtains, looked like blood. Main gripe the fact that the fire alarm went off twice waking us up. First time at 6:50 for several minutes, got half way down fire escape before it was switched off. Then again at 10am ish. No explanation offered at all at by staff. Positive, location good, easy to find from Piccadilly and walkable to the arndake etc. Staff polite on checkin and asked if we needed directions to anywhere. Good price point for a city centre hotel. However unsure if I’ll stay again, cleanliness has put me off a bit.

The hotel was great, very clean room with easy check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is a nice design. However, we were woken up by a fire alarm multiple times in the early morning despite there being no fire as the alarm would turn off almost immediately after starting up (it was on long enough to get dressed and leave the room). There was no acknowledgement of this or apology from the staff and we were never told what had caused the alarm to go off. I'd recommend the hotel as it's affordable, clean and well placed, but I'd have liked some form of apology/explanation about the alarm.

We stayed for 1 night at this hotel on 08/02/19. We were woken up just after 6am by the fire alarm, which went on for a substantial amount of time. We went into the corridor to see what we should do, to find the lady in the room next to us in the corridor quite upset as the alarm had been going off for a long time she had sent her daughter down to try and see what was going on. However, the fire doors had all closed and she was worried as to where her daughter was as she had been gone for quite some time and we didn’t know what was going on. There were no members of staff to ask what was going on and whether we needed to evacuate the building or whether it was a false alarm. The fire alarm finally stopped at about 6:50am so we returned to our rooms and managed to fall back asleep, to then be woken up again shortly after by the fire alarm again!! This happened 3 times during the morning, and at no point did any member of staff come round to explain to us what was happening. We paid for late checkout so that we could get some sleep throughout the day as we were staying after an event so didn’t get to the room until 4am. However, due to the alarms, we were not able to get barely any sleep so we left the room early and went home instead. The reason for this complaint is due to not being updated as to what was going on, not even at the checkout! There was no members of staff to hand the room keys back too and ask, so we had to leave the keys on the side without speaking to anyone. I feel a full refund should be given for our room as we were not able to use it for what we had intended, and paid for!

Paid for a room I think I was put into a disability room there door was off its hinges in the room and the fire alarm went off at 6 in the morning no proper precautions was put in place someone just cane said sorry it’s a mistake no need to come out your room and then I had a shower and was in dressed and it went off again my over all stay was very disappointing!!

Fred was so rude on the phone 3 days before our stay.we arrived and checked in. Room so cold. Middle of winter and window wide open. Heating not good in the room. Room not that clean. Bathroom looked dirty.
