« Noisy night in a room smelling of urine »

I was working in the area for a couple days and needed a hotel for the night. I booked this Ibis as it was the only thing under 200 pounds for the night being that there was a Tottenham game on at the stadium. I booked a family room not realizing there would be absolutely no desk space so I was unable to get any work done as the "desk area" was replaced with a small bed not much bigger than a cot. Due to the stadium being right next to the hotel I could hear everything going on from the fans chanting to the stadium PA system all the way up until Midnight. The room was roasting as they don't have any AC and I had to keep the window shut in order to muffle some of the sound from the football match. Not only was the noise coming from outside the hotel but my entire floor seemed to have been booked to children who spent the entire evening running and screaming up and down the hallways and using the lifts as play things and pressing the buttons to stop on every floor in the building (all 14 of them) every time they would use the lifts, which was constantly as they were playing in them. I had to use the stairs to get to the 9th floor all evening since the the lifts were left pretty much inoperable for anyone besides the children. To top things off room 907 which I was lucky enough to be assigned smelled of urine, and since the hotel was fully booked there was no other room available. You would think if they had a room that smelled this way they would rectify the issue before letting people stay in it, much less stick your platinum Accor members in it. I believe I will pay the higher rate next time and continue to stay at the Novotel down the road. The 164 pounds I was charged for the night at the Ibis was far from worth it.

Just one day but unforrunately I had a bad experience.Plenty of kids playing with the elevator, novrespect at all for the other guests Some of the Ibis staff should control it I paid good money and received back awful service

Housekeeping had opened the window and closed the curtains. I did not notice when I arrived as I dropped my bag off and went out. When I returned after midnight the room was really cold. Took a long time for the room to heat up. I pulled back the duvet to go to bed and the sheet was bloodshed and there were quite a few black hairs ( I am blonde). Ended up sleeping on top of the covers. Really disappointed.

Only stayed for one night (Oct 31st) as we travelled for the football at Stamford Bridge. The staff left Halloween sweets on the bed, which was a nice touch. Fairly basic rooms but more than adequate. Would definitely stay again.

we enjoyed the staff over there, young and helpful, nice lounge and common areas to eat have a drink or read. Breakfast and food are perfect. Hotel is well located, easy connection to the center of London. Rooms are ok, not state of the art but comfortable.

Breakfast was very nice. Room was clean but very basic.,small and in need of modernising. Access to the room was a continuous problem. My access cards had to be continously swiped due to them failing. Maintenance came out and tried to resolve the problem. They couldn't. Staff werey friendly. Building work all around the hotel taking place. Very noisy during the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We loved the breakfast. The room was quite basic, unfortunately our tv didn’t work. We had two rooms for our family and in one room the bedside light didn’t work and one in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I found the hotel very clean and was impressed with the meet n greet on arrival however on arrival back to the hotel i was a little upset with the lift as we were on 13th floor and one of the lifts was stuck and this made rather anxious about getting in the other as i do suffer from claustrophobia and i was with my husband because of this we walked 13 flights of stairs ! The pillows in the rooms were very uncomfortable they were hard so i slept without a pillow .

The staff was friendly and helpful, but our room was a disaster. Towels appeared to be dirty, the shower drained slowly causing the entire bathroom to flood, the bed was ridiculously hard, the bathroom door was broken and off the hinges. We also called for more towels but they never came, the food from the bar was horrendous and barely eatable, the elevator from the Mezz level was not functioning (not a big deal we usually take the stairs, but we were with a small child so this was challenging). Again, people were great, but the room and services were poor.

I had booked two rooms as I was attending an American Football match. The reception/bar area was crowded and there was no obvious reception desk. After a while somebody asked if I wanted to book in. That done, we put bags in our rooms and went to the bar for a drink and lunch. There were long queues and not enough staff. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. There was a TV but I did not get to use it. Breakfast was plentiful but I did not think the sausage, bacon etc were the best quality. Compared to other accommodation in the area, I think the price was fair.
