Room was ok, but obviously with the new building taking place, I assume the present building will be refurbished in time. Breakfast was not the best. Not the most wonderful experience, and will not probably return until new hotel is completed, but it suited our needs when visiting a concert at SSE Arena

Checking in was painfully slow. I wanted a receipt when he took payment and he refused. Not enough staff on duty. The room was adequate and clean. The food was overpriced so we ate out.

The bedroom chair was uncomfortable. The staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast area on mezzanine and ground floor were very noisy. The acoustics should be reviewed

We booked last minute as was attending a concert and didn't fancy the queues to get home. Was convenient as we could travel at quieter times to most other concert goers . Hotel is very basic and corridors and rooms felt like an old council block . Decor was dated , but the room was clean . Public areas were much more pleasant and staff friendly . We didn't have breakfast in our package but chose to buy it on the day .Sadly it was dissapointing and at £20 for the two of us , poor value .We wished we had walked round the corner to Wetherspoons . The hot food looked unappetising so I opted for a bowl of cereal My partner turned his nose up at the pale barely cooked bacon and dried scrambled egg and just had beans sausage and a hash brown . The hotel only has 3 car parking spaces + 2 disabled bays . We rang ahead and we're lucky to have a space reserved for us .Although there was a £12 charge it was a bonus to park onsite . To summarise it was convenient but accomadation overpriced for what it offered and breakfast not up to scratch

Overall our stay we fine - nothing special but we knew we wouldn't be in the room so much so it was ok. Breakfast is a little overpriced - ours was included but I wouldn't have paid £10.95 for it.

To be fair we had been warned by other reviewers that this hotel is very tired and shabby. However, we needed to stay close to Wembley Stadium and this hotel was perfect for that. For over £200 for a one night stay the room was tatty, with very strange marks on the walls and a bathroom straight out of 1973. The beds were clean and comfortable and we were very close to the event we were in town for. Being on 11th floor provided views over west London that were spectacular. Very expensive for what it is. New Premier Inn opens in July next door; will be interesting.

« Underwhelming and disappointing »

Within the first second of walking through the door I could see the damage on the seiling in several parts, the room temperature was unbearable, with no air on. I began to get hot rashes on my chest and shoulders both in the evening and the morning that began to get highly itchy. In the morning, my friend needed to go down to the lobby, as the lift was taking too long he chose to take the stairs, only to realise the doors were locked and had to wait for someone to open the door from the other side whilst somebody had left rubbish bags everywhere with flies and an unbareable stench alongside. After waiting 5 minutes of pulling the door and knocking on it for someone to open it he went back up a floor and used the lift anyway. Never have I come across so many issues after staying in ibis hotels so often, quite disappointed in the whole experience.
