« Staff knowledge »

I was visiting Scotland for the first time and went to reception to see where I could get the local site seeing buses....i was told to use google and find for myself. Certainly, staff could have been more helpful.

« Disturbed Night »

I had stayed with you previously (Jan 2017) and all was great, however we were just off a 10 hour flight and stayed with you again. During the night there was lots of noise which prevented us from getting a good night's sleep. Sounded like there were lots of trolleys and banging going on from about 1am-4am in the corridors. We were just so tired and it was frustrating not being able to sleep well. Location was great though.

« Awesome experience  »

The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The motel was located within walking distance to several restaurants, bars and shops. Many tourists spots were also within walking distance such as Sauchiehall St, Buchanan St and George Square.

« Comfortable Hotel »

A good stay up to usual IBIS standards. The only thing a bit odd is that it's name implies it's on Sauchiehall St which it's close to but not on (2 blocks away).

« Welcoming and neat »

I got a nice welcome from the staff who checked me in and the whole place was neat and tidy. My only gripe would be that the bed was not especially comfy for me but I think I'm a bit fussy. Staff very helpful with any request for assistance/guidance. Would stay again.

« Basic but comfortable, expensive for what it was. »

The hotel was pleasant and the staff very welcoming. The room was basic and lacked any warmth or character. Few points to mention:- - A new double electric socket had been added by the mirror for plugging the hairdryer and this socket also had two usb sockets. Great! However it would be useful if the usb sockets were nearer the bed and not on a wall with no furniture near it so anything you were plugging in to charge had to be left on the floor. On the positive, at least there are electric sockets by the bed which often is missing in other hotels. - Under the window, there is a shelf which had the kettle on the right hand side but no socket. The socket was on the left hand side by the phone so anytime you wanted to make tea/coffee you had to take the kettle and from the tray with the cups and accessories and plug it in on the opposite side moving the phone to make room. - You have a sign up regarding preserving the planet by not having to wash towels unnecessarily but you use plastic cups - not saving the planet. - The curtains at the window are very good blackout curtains but there is nothing else at the window so you either have the curtains open or closed. When open, your view is of several flats that can see straight into the room so you have no privacy unless the curtains are shut. Although I do not like net curtains myself, perhaps this would help[ and allow guests to leave curtains open to let in light but allow privacy. Or, there is a material, a thin film that could be put on to the glass that allows you to look out but people can't see in. It's not expensive and all you do then is put a note on the window informing and reassuring guests that people can't see in. I myself bought this material for my flat a few years ago. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower worked well and was refreshing. The bed was comfortable enough. £90 for this standard was far too high

« Nice hotel, good price.  »

The hotel was nice. Good value for money. Only stayed for one night and didn't have breakfast etc so can't put a review on the food. I did request and thought I had booked a room in Sauchiehall street in Glasgow but instead we were in West Regent street which was a bit further away from train station and where we wanted to be.

« Ok »

Pretty misleading name, not on sauchiehall st, room not ready when we arrived. Staff were pleasant and worked hard to get our room ready. Had I known it was such a walk from city centre. I prob wouldn't have booked. Room was clean, good shower, nice breakfast.

« Great location comfortable bed and brilliant shower.  »

Everything was fist class except for one small problem. The bulb in the bedside lamp had blown and was reported on the first morning. However it still had not been repaired by the time we left.
