The experience was good. The standard of the breakfast packs have dropped since the last time. We used to get two toasted chicken mayo and bacon. This time we received a toasted cheese which was very dry and not filling together with a muffin etc. the bar is now sticking my wine which is great.

It was very good overall. Small improvements: The toasting machine is on a setting where the toast does not brown enough. If you put the half toasted bread in the toaster a second time it will burn. I think the toaster setting just needs to be fine tuned. Chef: The chef who makes the eggs is really good.

The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. Appreciate daily cleaning services and staff readiness to assist whenever. However, the food served from the menu in the evenings was very inconsistent. On the first night the food was great and considering we stayed for 2 weeks there was a very apparent decline in quality of preparing the food. When certain ingredients were not available we were not notified thereof and received food as is without first being made aware. Food started becoming sloppy and served in a very careless manner.

the receptionist always professional Mr Lesedi. The rooms are clean my concern is the bedding, it's always clean but on more that two stays the covers of the bedding are torn and too small to fit the double bed. I think it's time for new ones.

I usually choose Mercure over every other Hotel because it's cosy and has everything I need but I would like a bit more info at the front desk on what is available though. I kind of have to find my own way around and only get told where my room is and where to find the breakfast section. - I only found the outdoor area after my 2nd stay - I only saw complimentary tea on my way out after my 3rd stay - I didn't even know I could order food from the bar and found a menu stuck in a drawer after I dried my hair when leaving If you have great things to offer, tell your guests all about it when they arrive so that they can have the full experience and make the best of all your services.
