we had booked specifically to be able to go ride the Telkom 94.7 bicycle race and be able to come back take a bath and drive back to Swaziland.Regardless of some unforseen delays that only allowed us to reach the hotel long after checkout time we were allowed to freshen up and leave.

Staying at Mercure is ok. Evening meals are a problem - always have to order out and when they deliver no decent cutlery or crockery. Fridges are too small

Nice refurbished rooms, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very competitive rates, Joseph, the hotel taxi service was excellent and extremely efficient. I would say there were two things which could improve. The quality and portion size of the Bar menu and the weak coffee. Otherwise an excellent experience and great friendly staff!

I am very happy with the competitive price and service. All your employees do an outstanding job and do try to assist at any time. With regards to the room it was clean but the A/C do require service, it makes a lot of noise and doesn't assist having a good night sleep. Also every time you have issues with the lift and being on the 3rd floor that can be quite a hassle.

Started with a very warm welcome from the reception lady. Room was neat, clean and tidy. Comfy bed and great linen. Room overlooked parking area that was sometimes a bit noisy, and two car alarms spoilt my one night. Great hotel - will be back.

I always enjoy my stay. The only negative I have, is the minute hand-basin in the bathroom, almost impossible to wash your face or to shave.

Staff is friendly and accommodating, fast and efficient service at reception, housekeeping staff was discreet and thorough. However, for the past 2 times we stayed there, we noticed that bed linnen although clean, is tattered and frayed to the extent that it should be replaced.
