« Nice hotel location near to lake, shame about conference attending hotel »

Nice hotel clean with friendly staff. Found the room far too hot and air con not very effective. Location good for station and lake just a shame in red light area, although not too much bother. Just choose to walk a different route. Conference delegates attending were like animals at breakfast time, took over restaurant, cross contaminated food and left mess everywhere. Staff worked hard to clean up. Don’t understand why hotels sit them in same restaurant at same time as other guests relaxing. Too many people who now each other tend too be far too noisy and take over. Breakfast good choice. Overall stay good.

I have been staying at Geneva Novotel since September 2018, one a week for 2 nights. Therefore, I believe I already slept in rooms in almost all the floors. The rooms are extremely look alike. In the last 2 weeks was on the rooms from the left hand side (324 and 423). Good low noise :) Almost a perfect silence. However, room 423 need to shower to be fix (the bottom part was little loose from the wall. I passed this information to the reception desk when I check out). And room 423 don't have a hook to hanged a winter coat (I hanged in the closet).

Excellent, front desk personnel Daniela was so helpful and very professional. Breakfast buffet was fine but could have been better. Spa (steam room) was not working on the day we were there. No complimentary bottle of water on the room:-(((

Not having booked with lastminute.com before, I was anxious prior to arrival that the booking hadn’t made it to the hotel itself as I had no confirmation, other than that from lastminute. This hotel had come up as recommended every time I looked, and it 100% is recommended by me. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they are welcoming, and do as much for you as they can. We received a free public transport pass which I was not expecting and it genuinely made our stay so much better and less stressful knowing that we didn’t have to worry about money for transport and how much it would cost. The room was pristine, and so spacious. I loved the toilet being separate from the bathroom, the shower was brilliant, and the bed was extremely comfortable. On check-out the staff, again were very friendly and ensured we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Geneva.

« ROOM WAY TOO WARM + BREAKFAST LATE »

Unfortunately the experience was not pleasant because of a room with a way too warm temperature that I couldn't change and I couldn't even open the window - I couldn't sleep well the 2 nights because of that And then I order a breakfast between 7.30 and 7.45 which arrive a 7.55 (because I called to say it was late) - It made me late for work, and I didn't order any breakfast the day after because I couldn't allowed to be late again.

« Bad Experience Checking In »

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. Cons: I had an issue checking in due to a Booking.com error. They failed to notify me that my reservation was cancelled prior to my arrival (Novotel never informed me either). Due to this error I was informed upon check in that I did not have a reservation. Since the rates changed since my original booking, I ended up paying an additional $300. It seemed like bad business practices that Novotel did not honor my my original price. I also travel a lot for work and thought this was one of the worst breakfast buffets I have ever encountered. The food selection was terrible and poorly prepared and the fruits and vegetables were not fresh.

We stayed in Novotel Geneva Centre for on night in November 2018. The hotel was very clean, the lobby was warm and nicely decorated and our rooms was very spacious. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very polite. Overall, this hotel is an excellent accommodation choice in Geneva.
