« Bad Reception desk work »

At the check in I was told, that I was upgraded to superior room and the minibar is free. At check out I was told, that the mineral water is free and I have to pay for beer, juice, etc. According to confirmation mail I had to get a discount of 4000 Le Club member Rewards points - CHF92.35 - I didn't get it.So, I planned to pay city tax CHF16.00 + room upgrading CHF 60.00 total CHF76.00. Really I paid CHF199.35. I was in hurry to catch a train and had no time for discussions. Naturally, I feel a bitter taste of this surprise. All other services in the hotel was on the best side.

At check in I was told, that I was upgraded to superior room and the minibar is free. At check out was told, that only the water was free, I have to pay for beer, juice, etc. In addition I had to get a discount of 4000 LE Club member Reward points (CHF92.35) - see confrmations mail - I didn't get it. I was just there for business so I did not stay much or use the restaurant. But the staff are friendly and helpful; the room is fine, and wifi worked well.

Check in good but I'd already done online, room spacious but bland in comparison to Ibis Styles I normally stay at, bad smell coming from bathroom sink plug hole, was expecting a better breakfast, not different if not worse than Ibis Styles!

I received the room in line with my booking, all staff were friendly, the room was clean. I do find the room rather overpriced for the standard offered, there was not even body lotion in the room provided...

The hotel was lovely the staff were helpful and friendly the breakfast was fresh and the buffet had a good variety. The hotel is located centrally about 5 minutes from Cornavin which is good however you must be warned that the hotel is in the red light district which didn’t bother me too much however if this offends you it may be a problem I would avoid rue de Zürich and may be take rue de levant and rue de la navigation to avoid this area but overall it was a good hotel in a central location and after British Airways staff stay here so it can’t be half bad.

hotel was good and good quality and friendly staff, but I was in a room next to some warehouse and from 6.00 am, they began pushing trolleys and off loading stuff. The room was spacious and nice, but not being able to sleep, particularly after a late check -in does not make the experience appealing

« Reliable hotel with good staff, but needs a renovation. »

I've stayed at the hotel many times, but this time I noticed that the hotel needs an update. The bathroom was not up to a 4* standard anymore, and while the room was well maintained it shows its age (10+ years since a renovation). There are competitor properties nearby I've stayed at that are modernized and better value for about the same price.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. I do not know if it is a regional peculiarity, but I found I could not really adjust the room temperature, which I like to control a bit more than the facility allows.

« a reasonable hotel but not very calm »

While the hotel itself is fine, the breakfast and check in experience was extremely chaotic. It was very unclear how the breakfast worked. The coffee machines were both out of order on one day, even though when i reported this, one member of staff disagreed - there was no milk coming out of one, and no coffee out of the other. the air con in the room wasn't very effective - i experience quite big fluctuations in temperature at night which made it difficult to sleep.

Pleasant and accomodating staff, room perfectly OK (many thanks for the upgrade!), but with 244.- fairly high priced when one thinks of the context, being the district in which the hotel is, whiich does not make it a pleasant experience coming there (in particular later in the evening).
