The location is great, ends here. TV, air conditioning and bathroom are from the dark ages. Breakfast need improvement, orange juice is pure water!!

There was always something wrong with the room. From day one with a broken lamp through the rest of the days with missing towels, soap, shampoo... mattresses were old and uneven, the safe did not work, air conditioning is noisy... Breakfast, usually very good early in the morning, was cold (eggs) after 9.

The overall experience at Mercure Privilege was very good. Hoghlight is the delicious breakfast. Only negative observation is the construction going on outside the lobby, which crated some noise during the night and disturbed my sleep.

Considering the price payed it was OK, because the room was good and staff was polite, but cards were scheduled to demagnetize daily (as I understood, but that makes no sense) and the toilet wasn't very clean. Also, there was a continuous noise in the bedroom due to the air extractor or something else, even with everything turned off.

The hotel was OK, however, there were several items that would have made the stay better. I was surprised that the room did not come with an iron and ironing board. I contacted the front desk to try and get one for the room, however, they were not able to comply with the request. Additionally, traveling from the US, there were only 3 English language channels on the TVs and I could not get English subtitles. For a long visit, it would have been nice to have more than 3 channels to view. Last, I thought that bottled water was included as a part of the stay (it has been at other hotels). I was surprised to find that there was no complimentary bottled water included with the hotel. Other than that, the food in the restaurant was very good and I enjoyed the area around the pool.

Hotel is nice but a few things were odd. Hallway lights were motion sensitive and turned off if you were stationary waiting for an elevator. Toilet did not flush well. Doors did not seal well (Light came in around all 4 sides). No fitter sheet on mattress and thus sheet pulled up every night. no privacy covering on bathroom window.

The hotel was 100% occupied and they gave me a room where the air conditioning did not work. An internal device, noisy like a truck, was installed, but it did not freeze the room. In the middle of the night, it also disconnected from the exhaust duct several times, causing me to wake up and jump to reconnect the device, which was filling the room with hot air. The hotel even forgot the in-room service menu. I called reception and for it, but they took almost an hour to bring me one. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hotel. Nobody warned me about the broken air conditioning, nor did anyone apologize for the trouble.

Bathroom with a water leak from the ceiling, during the whole night, due to air conditioning problems ( and noise a lot ). Seams that this issue is old, because the floor in front of the bathroom is getting lose already ... I almost fall during the night (dark) because the floor got slippery... All the rest was great !
