« Great Location »

Thought we were off the tracks when we first arrived but then realised how central the hotel was. Very easy to get too on the U-bahn and very easy to get around. Actually only 10 minutes walk to Unter den Linden and another 10 to Brandenburg Gate! Hotel itself a little strange but really nice. Rooms well appointed and clean, staff at Reception, in the bar (Goulash soup was brilliant) and at breakfast were friendly and helpful. Can't ask for more and we definitely enjoyed our stay here and would go back again.

Could not be happier with this hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. And location was excellent for sight seeing. Great little bonuses like picking things for mini bar and relaxing in the sauna. Nice and reasonable priced bar. Wld definetely recomend and stay again

Everything was fine as expected and the room was really huge, compared to other hotels. Having a Sauna is certainly a plus in winter. When I entered the room, the rubbish bin in the bathroom was not cleaned, there were still deos etc from the previous guest in the bin. I have had a coffee machine in the room, however, the coffee itself was only filled up on second day. I did not report it as I did not drink coffee, just noticed that it was not filled up.

We were very pleased with our room and reception staff on our arrival. Subsequent meetings with staff, in particular at breakfast were very pleasant. Buffer breakfast was excellent. Found the location was very central and allowed us to walk the majority of the time and easily access public transport when needed. A good selection of eating options was nearby.

Stayed for 2 nights. Overall 8/10. We stayed at the apartment and it was spacious. The room layout was too weird- bathroom is right where the room entrance is ( I mean with all the space of the apartment who on earth decided to put a bathroom by the door? The layout felt like an afterthought, I expect better from a 4 star hotel ) Comfort/Night’s sleep: 4/5 The beds were literally 2 singles pushed together. They’re not even made up as one bed. 1 pillow per person and a pair of worn out display cushions are hardly 4-star. However, the pillows were comfortable. Shower was excellent. Nice warm showers, throughout. Location: 5/5 Close to a lot of transport links, shops, and even tourist spots, airport easily reached Hotel amenities/breakfast: can’t comment as did not use the sauna, etc on offer. Did not have breakfast at hotel either General hospitality/Staff: 4/5 They were helpful. I wouldn’t say they were warm with the welcome. I have stayed in differently rated hotels and I can go to a 3 star and have a lovely welcome from staff (explain what im entitled to, say what else this hotel has to offer) It was a straightforward “Give me your details, sign here, and here are your keys” situation. I appreciate the efficiency though. Interior: Needs updating. Carpet needs to be cleaned and maybe shampooed? We don’t need 2 tvs in a room, update it to one big one. too many floor lamps! I suggest ceiling lights and ambient lighting. Cleanliness: 4/5 Bathroom tiles weren’t spotless. Again, when i stay at 4 and 5 star hotels, I rate based on a higher standard. Towels needs replacing, they feel tough and don’t look white anymore. The fridge in the kitchen looked dodgy so had to wipe down before I could put anything in. Everything else was clean enough. Nightly Rate based on what we’re getting: 5/5 Very cheap per night rate for the space we got. Perfect for people who are on a budget but want more for their money. This hotel offers a lot of space than most of the hotels in the 3 star tier. Having said this, I’d like to suggest that you look at the tiny details because they matter. In Madrid you get a complimentary bottle of water and bread every morning from a 3 star hotel. In Rome, a 4-star hotel has a portrt that helps or at least offers if you need help with your luggage(big or small) In paris, a 2-star accommodation even offers disposable shower caps. The tiny details make the whole experience. ( I mean offering a vending machine cheapens the whole experience for me and so I felt like I was staying at a 3 star near the airport kind of hotel) Will I come back if in Berlin again? No Did I get what I paid for? Yes and even more Will I recommend? Yes, to people who want a 3-star experience. No if expecting 4-star brilliance. Nevertheless, we enjoyed Berlin and thank you for accommoding me and my husband.

Our room was huge, the staff were great and the bar was good for a light dinner. The location is great for a number of the Wall historical sites and Potsdam Platz. There was a stuff up with payment for an extension on the website but the staff took responsibility and resolved things. So great to see staff take responsibility in these days when everyone tries to duck shove responsibility to some one (or something ‘computer says’) else. Would definitely stay again and have recommended my eldest son stays next year.

Reception staff were so helpful and polite. Rooms large and clean. Couple of gripes in that there was no-where to plug the kettle in on the desk area so had to plug in on the floor near the door. Also the bar was very small and not very well stocked so didn't have a few drinks prior to going out. Other than that our stay was superb.
