1)3 people need to prepare 3 sets of towels and slippers No need us to call for help. 2) toilet roll no standby even through almost finished when we reached in hotel. 3)front desk quite senior receptionist seem to be no patient in handling guests. 4)cigarette smell in toilet although non smoking room.

« Great location but a smoker’s hotel »

Location is unbeatable being just a block away from Wangfujing St. Waldorf Astoria is next door and the Peninsula is across the street. Hotel staff is very helpful and the wait staff at the breakfast buffet is very attentive. All of the above positives are totally offset by the smell of cigarette smoke in the room and the hallways. The smell subsided quite a bit after the 3rd day of our 6 day stay, but only after runnng the room air conditioning 24/7. The smoke smell combined with air refresher in the hallway on our floor (8th) remained during our stay. The bathroom tiles and caulking are quite dirty bordering on molds. Five other members of our travel group had the same experience. Clearly the hotel’s no smoking policy is very lax and not enforced nor does it pay attention to maintenance. We would never stay at this hotel again.
