it was great. its peaceful i always choose to stay here when im in london. however, it would be better to have reception phone, switch light for the light to be turned off by the window it seems like is always on and maybe prefer shamppos and handwash in the toilet.

Disappointing service and communication from the outset. I have also written a separate complaint by email and have still not received even an acknowledgement. My booking was made in early September and was paid for via bank transfer to the details on the proforma provided. My guest, Andrew Kay, arrived on the day of check in to be told by your front desk staff that the room had in fact been cancelled. He handed the attached proforma to the person on the desk who still confirmed the room had been cancelled. Mr Kay then left so as not to be subjected to further embarrassment and found alternative accommodation at another hotel and at further personal cost. No attempt was made by your staff to contact either myself or the Helmsbriscoe associate while my guest waited to rectify this issue in order for him to check in. I am extremely disappointed with the misunderstanding and miscommunication around this booking and as the room was clearly not used that day despite being paid for well in advance I would ask that the room cost is re-imbursed. I await your response.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very good. Just one item of feedback, the room was very warm and we couldn’t use the aircon to lower the temperature. Apart from that, it was all first class.

Our Ibis hotels have an ‘air cooling’ system in place which does differ from air conditioning and this system is partly dependent on the external temperature. According to expected weather conditions for the time of year, the heating was on rather than the cooling system. As in actuality it was unseasonably warm at the time of your stay, I sincerely apologize if this system was not sufficiently effective on this occasion. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and adequately resourced. Rather stuffy with window closed but very noisy with it open-so difficult to establish a happy medium in terms of temperature.

1) the extra bed for my son of 17 years in the room was low, in the photo of the hotel site, it was of the same size with double bed size in terms of height. That Bed was TOO BAD and NOT AT ALL confortable. 2) there was no AC, but that is not a big issue, NO window which could be opened, it was fixed. so it was not really comfortable (Room nr 219). However, we were supplied with table fans. We were shown another room when we said that there was no window which could be opened, but that was to our surprise had terrible bad smell of riol. 3) hotel was booked for 3 persons, but was found that breakfast was only for 2 persons. Dont know why hotel staff put breakfast for 2 persons, while they knew that it was booked for 3 persons. POSITIVE SIDES WERE: nice location, Desk staff were nice, friendly and cooperative.

First night in was very bad experience (rooms not allocated as requested, bad smell in the room, unwelcoming ). But fortunately, things were taken by of the staff present and she solved our problems. After that, we had a very good experience and the staff was very helpful, courteous, and dedicated particularly the morning and breakfast staff. (I am referring here to Pensri, Chiara, Aida, Sadia & Sabina)

My room was situated at the front of the hotel and the windows did not keep the noise out. I am a light sleeper, and the room didn't accommodate for this.
