- Cleanliness good - Bed very comfortable - Location of hotel good (due to proximity to tube station) - Staff mostly friendly though very brief and rather unmotivated concerning their communication style (especially when greeting us upon arrival)

Once again I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Friendly welcome , very clean room and comfortable bed. Had a great sleep thanks to the air con in the room despite the high temperatures.

Really enjoyed it , staff were not pushy by constant chit chat but still made you feel welcome when they saw you. We decided that on our first morning we would like to lay in and clean the room ourselves but they kindly left us fresh towels on our door. We very much enjoyed the room, is it modern and very clean. We are booking to come back in August! :) thank you ibis stratford

Everything was good except for the woman who initially served me as I checked in. Was very rude and said ‘you haven’t paid’ when someone else booked on my behalf and continued to badger me even though I made it clear I was checking if they had paid or not. She gave me the key then walked off so had to work out where my room was! Breakfast was great and Richard in the bar the night before was outstanding

Room was ok tea facilities in room very basic and just 1 teabag, shower was in poor state hose was leaking so no power on the shower head just managed to finish couldn't really complain as I didn't have time but was expecting a reasonable standard am sure other guests must have complained previously, I paid a lot for the room,so that annoyed me when things are of poor standard.

Good welcome, nice friendly staff. Spacious modern room with a very comfy bed. Lovely air con for such warm weather. Great location close to Stratford rail station, Westfield and Olympic Park. Next to Nando’s and a Morrison’s around the corner. Good stay, thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were quiet and I liked the blackout curtains. Only slight problem was the AC in 117 did not seem to get very cold. I was in 116 and mine was OK. Very good breakfast and all staff v friendly. Check in was a bit chaotic as there was a bit of confusion as I had another booking in August, but we got it sorted out in the end. Would prefer an Iron/ ironing board in the room, although not an issue this time as Ironing room was right opposite us

« It was ok but not as good as other Ibis hotels we stayed in. »

We were allocated a disabled room, which we did not request. The bathroom smelled and the flush for the toilet was not working well. Also the door to the bathroom was difficult to open and would have been impossible to open if you were disabled.

« happy but expensive »

check in and room booked an early check-in, witch was averrable when i arrived, room was clean and comfy. there was a lot of damage around the window, paster broken lock had been re-fixed to the wall. 2x pillows on bed and one in wardrobe. what happenes when you both want two pillows? food. before heading out we had a little snack of fries and chorizo sausage from the menu. chips soggy and flavourless. chorizo sausage nice but 4 pieces the size of marbles....... felt a bit ripped off. when we returned in the evening we had two burgers a beer and a bottle of water. the young girl seemed to struggle with understanding what i wanted. 2x burgers 2x drinks........... she seemed really confused by the drinks being different!!!!!! however on both accasions they let me return to the room and they called me when the food was ready so i didn't have to sit around waiting. all in all happy but really expensive for 1x night in a hotel witch isn't a spa or restaurant and is a essentially a pit stop hotel.

The hotel was extremely reasonable for the area and was immaculately clean with new fixtures and fittings throughout and very comfortable beds. The staff were excellent - if you are looking for a great budget hotel, look no further.
