« Nice but expensive for what it is. »

It was okay and the room did what was needed. It was a bit expensive for what it is though that's the only downside. I loved the automated check in.

« Dreadful because i felt like a prisoner »

Very hard to get access to the hotel and the reception was closed in the afternoon and the manager repeatedly could not be found. On two occasions the door to my room would not open. The electronic lock would not work. This meant that i dare not go outside after the reception closed at 21:00 because no staff would be found to get me in the room. I felt trapped. The area was bad and some cars had been broken into. Thankfully i did get a secure parking space but the corridors to the car park under the hotel were badly lit and dangerous.

The room was clean but we needed a hair dryer and an iron, 2 things we got in other Ibis Budget we stayed asking on the reception. Apparently they should have those things but they said they were robbed and they didn´t got new ones. I little bit unorganized. The hotel is kind of isolated too, nothing around. Apart from that, normal stay.

« Good when on the move »

We had some language problems since the employee at the desk when we arrived did not speak a single word english. But we managed anyway. For 5 euros extra you can park in the hotels garage. This is a three gated entrance with code for each gate so your car should be very safe! Otherwise it is as expected for a Ibis hotel. It is a place to sleep. You get your own bathroom which is good.

« The good choice at the right time »

I had only 2 days to visit Nice and the area and didn't want to spend too much money. I looked over using all websites, Ibis Budget was the right choice. Very reasonable price, rooms are clean, hot water in the shower, free parking and less tan 5 minutes by car from the Airport and 10 minutes from the city center. If you are arriving by car and have a limited budget, this is the best choice. We didn't have the time to take the breakfast, but I can say that 6.5 Euro is very reasonable.

« It was not a better experience of my life »

1. We haven't received the SMS message with a codes. This fact and arriving time at midnight when the reception closed turn our parking and accessing building entrance to a little problem and a big quest. 2. The WiFi connection was poor and without internet access. 3. For a good word I must say then you have a very comfortable mattress.

« Initially given keys to occupied room so walked in on someone and then the reception staff didn’t believe me....poor »

Not great- see above. Location was scary with little security visible. When I asked for a plate at breakfast the reply was this is a two star not a five star. Very poor service and customer skills

« Shocking! Rude staff »

Unfortunately after a long day of travel our phone batteries had died (our fault) which meant we could not enter the code to enter the hotel, when the guy came to the lobby he was completely rude and unhelpful, when we explained, he said “no you don’t stay here!” Eventually managed to charge phone and access our room. Breakfast was ok, but there was no plates, no fruit, all a bit weird, wouldn’t recommend

« Was very sick in hotel room. Filled tub with water and dust was swimming in morning »

Worst hotel stay ever. Went for breakfast... no one was at desk... We assumed it was included... WORKER yell led it was not and cost money that needed to be paid upfront. Selection was MERDE. So we declined. He yelled my wife poured a coffee and had to pay for that ... even though we did mot want it We paid and walked away However i must warn others there were bugs on the floor and in the bed. Hotel is a DUMP! The man working Front desk should work at a prison, not a hotel...

« Overall, I think this hotel was a decent value. »

We stayed two nights, and though it is a bit strange to check into a hotel where there is nobody working at the reception desk, we were satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The rooms are small and lacking in space to put things, but they are clean and efficient. And the shower was excellent: plenty of strong hot water in a very clean stall. My one complaint is that our door did not lock easily; in fact, when we once returned to the hotel in the early evening after being out all day and after the housekeeping staff had been to our room, our door was unlocked. Fortunately, nothing had been taken from our rooms, but this could have been a big problem if someone had wanted to steal something. The following morning I did let the receptionist know about this problem; he said that he would look into this problem.

Room clean but several things broken. Shower attachment just about attached to shower wall. Divider between beds broken and wood splintered. Pillow very small and flat, very poor. Good room heater and lots of hot water.

good budget hotel, clean & comfortable, only problem is parking, very limited outside & underground carpark very difficult to get into, some road noise, but convenient to airport & easy access to Nice & surrounding area
