I'm not normally one to complain but we have stayed at lots of Accor hotels in various countries over the years and have never had any negative experiences untill now. During our stay at your Ibis Leicester City hotel, we were allocated our room which was untidy upon arrival, empty bottles and food wrappers being left on top of the wardrobe. There was also a pillow missing from the bed. We reported the pillow to a gentleman on reception and was advised that he couldn't resolve the matter as he was working alone and didn't explain to us how the issue was going to be resolved so we just left for dinner and presumed that it would be getting placed whilst we were out, this unfortunately didn't happen. This was an anniversary trip for us and we really felt let down by the service and cleanliness of the hotel. Kind Regards, Lee

Came early to take advantage of the parking and was able to check in early. Hotel was excellent very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a perfect spot to get into the city centre on foot. We had the breakfast as part of our hotel deal and it was excellent. The choice was amazing and quality of ingredients was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel again and again nothing was too much trouble for staff and Leicester was such a friendly city.

The rooms were clean, the staff were nice. The only problem I had was a strong smell of mold on the landing as soon as we got out of the lift. There was a similar smell in the room if we left for the day and didn't leave the window open. The other thing that surprised me was the fact that the restaurant downstairs didn't serve proper dinner but snacks only. To eat dinner we had to walk 10 minutes into town.

The hotel itself was in a good area, close to all amenities and where I was going to. Check in staff were friendly, limited free parking and clean. The room was a reasonable size, my only woes that can be changed were the size of the bed, I was in a twin room and beds felt about 2ft, the pillow and bed were both very hard hence I didn't get much sleep. What Can't be changed was the noise of the trains, cars and drunks outside the hotel...maybe a bit of noise insulation could be added and as I was only staying for one night I put up with it.

Hi, I had my stay with you about a week and a half ago. Despite enjoying the room and customer service I was extremely let down by the constant sound of static coming from something in the room. There was also a pubic hair floating in the toilet water which was not pleasant to see upon arrival. I was staying in the hotel for a night as I had to be in the area for an exam the following morning however due to this noise I struggled to get much sleep. I was forced to sleep with headphones in to cancel out the annoying buzzing sound. Unfortunately it has put me off staying with you in the future which is a shame.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and compact room in which everything worked. Comfortable bed and superb shower (with great simple shower gel) All I needed for time I was in the room. Excellent buffet breakfast - especially healthy options. Only unsatisfactory aspect was the on line check in. Why were UK residents asked to give passport details to stay in an English hotel. I had prepaid but was given a bill and asked for credit card details - needless to say I did not check in on line. I asked the duty manager about this on arrival and she was unable to give any explanation.
