Staff we had dealings with very friendly and helpful, dining in the restuarant Georgi and the waiters looked after my partners dietary requirements and were always happy and smiling, the chefs checked with jane and made sure everything was satisfactory, this is the second time we have stayed and we will be back.

Not pleasant. Stayed for 4 nights. First night ordered room service - was disgusted with the meal. Ordered fish and chips to replace the salad and again was not impressed. Had oil/water dripping out of my fish when bit into it - this was around 9.30pm and by then gave up. Locked out of my room twice - for some reason my card won't work. Had to call reception for a hair dryer. This is something standard in every hotel room. Was at the gym and the nights went out.

I did really appreciate the choice of pillow, however the pillow case was exceptionally wrinkly and didn't look clean. My room was cleaned but there were several hairs left on the bedspread and on the bathroom floor and shower drain. Despite one keycard being in my wallet and one keycard in my backpack pocket, both of them stopped working and I had to go get them reset. At check-in, it would have been great if they told me where everything was (ie. elevator, gym, etc).

The room and front desk was exceptional. Except for the restaurant experience which can be improved. Enjoyed the steak and beef burger but not the garlic break (too oily and dry), soup had too much cream, didnt like the lamb pasta. Had a long wait at restaurant on sunday, gave up and went to ny room. Total wait time was over an hour. One morning ordered a flat white but waited over 30minutes (forgotten my order). Some mornings couldnt find a bowl for breakfast.

The room was nice but wasn't cleaned between my first and second night which was disappointing as i didn't have any fresh towels or bodywash.bi also tried to order a special pillow twice as per your brochure but couldn't get through to reception. I was impressed by the quality of food and staff manner at the bar and restaurant and overall the bed was comfortable so would stay again

Wonderfull. A warm welcome on checking in, it was kind to say welcome home because we always look forward to staying with you all. A really friendly housekeeper which was very nice, she was a real pleasure to meet. A superb dinner with a steak that cut like butter with a table knife, so much better than last month! A breakfast with such kind and nice waitresses, two of whom went out of their way to make us feel very special. A quick and pleasant check out. You have wonderfull staff who set a very high standard and keep that special Kiwi friendly manner while doing an outstanding job. Please make sure you pass our appreciation onto them for us. Maybe you could make sure you include the housekeeper who was on the 4th floor at 12.30 by room 4007.

The benefit of online check-in has helped to create a mostly seamless experience when arriving at Accor Hotel. The Novotel no exception to this. As a returning customer, I am familiar with the layout of the hotel, and for the most part it makes sense. There had been a rearrangement of the lobby/reception area, and there was a distinct lack of seat. This was a little annoying when checking out as the Taxi was late and so I had to stand somewhat awkwardly to the side. The Room, as always could do with a refresh. The original choice of design having aged perhaps faster than intended. It was however clean and tidy, and this particular room showed less sign of wear on furniture than other rooms I have stayed in. There was an issue with WiFi, which was quickly resolved by reception staff. Staff service was exceptional.
