Easy check in / out. Wasn't too impressed eating our meal in the bar area. Took along time before the meal arrived. There were 4 of us and in our room we only had two towels. I asked for two more but none came.

Some customer service was first class, and some (bar staff) that was very average. Had a towel in my room that was stained with black spots, which I only noticed after using. It was disgusting.

recommended for a traveler that needs to head south on the motorway in the morning. Restaurant as a la cart and food was of good quality. signed the receipt at the end, but wasn't on the bill at the reception in the morning, but the copy of the complete receipt was emailed to me, so worked out OK

The restaurant was advised as open but wasn’t only food available was the room service menu. Which we had on the Friday night the food was terrible.. mentioned this to both restaurant staff on Saturday night and when we checked out on Sunday with no response from either staff member. Was expecting the level of service and food to be on a par to Rotorua But sadly no. A glass of wine was $20 which is rediculousas bottle cost $14 in the shop

Spacious rooms which are nicely furnished. We chose the early check-in option after an overnight flight. Great shower and bath. Even at the front of the hotel , we didn't hear traffic noise from the nearby motorway. Convenient to the racecourse function venues and a short walk to Remuera shops and restaurants. Handy to the train station. Helpful staff and a relaxing stay.

« Could have been good, ended up not so »

Ordinary and unsatisfying - i bought food and stored it in the refrigerator, and when I came back to my room it had been emptied. Upon checking out I realized a t-shirt had been taken too. I emailed the hotel and got no reply, and had to phone three times to get through to someone to look for it. They told me they couldn’t find it.
