Location was good, room was adequate although not being able to open the window for fresh air was annoying as room was a bit smelly and mixed with cleaning products. Also should tell people you actually have to pay to park there, not just when checking out

JUST AN OVERNIGHT STAY SO NOT TOO MUCH SERVICE WAS NEEDED. DIDN'T REALIZE THAT THE RECEPTION AREA AND ENTRANCE WAS AROUND THE BACK.! THE STAFF WERE FINE(HAPPY AND CHARMING), HELPFUL AND OBLIGING ONCE I WAS THERE .THANKS FOR THAT. JUST AS WELL I WASN'T THERE FOR THE VIEW BUT THE ROOM AND BED WAS COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. BEING A COFFEE DRINKER A BIT MORE REGULAR COFFEE AND SUGAR SACHETS WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED.DIDN'T WANT TO DISTURB THE STAFF FOR A LITTLE MORE JUST CHANGED MY DRINK BUT NEEDED SUGAR . Awesome check-in and check-out staff, comfy bed, great Wifi, awesome water pressure, easy parking (a shame that it costs an extra $15, especially when there is No Alternative), No Sky TV, hairs on towels, dirty tea cups and the food for dinner was heavily overpriced for what you receive, plus the staff in the restaurant totally ignore you.

Our room was just what we needed compact but big enough for the two of us, very clean and quiet. The staff were super friendly and efficient, food in the restaurant was delicious. We found it easy to get to all parts of Auckland with no problems at all, and in fact will be staying there any time we need to go back to Auckland. thank you Ibis Ellerslie.

We were up in Auckland for a family wedding and stayed at the Ellerlsie ibis which was really lovely. The room had everything we needed, hotel itself was very well situated for us. The staff kind, friendly and extremely accommodating. If there was any draw back, this would be that we could not get any natural airflow through the room as the windows do open and have to rely on air conditioning. How ever this was not a major.We would highly recommend the Ellerslie ibis to all. We would like to say a huge thanks to all the staff who help us make oiur stay memorable.

A very friendly and helpful greeting at Reception set the tone for my stay. A very comfortable bed, a great shower and a clean room. I would've liked some sort of Directory in the room informing about charges for phoning out and also a guide on using the TV - were some channels free and did others rack up a charge?

« Great! Clean adequate with good facilities. Great to have iron, rea, coffe making etc and comfortable beds. »

Relaxing and enjoyable but very! noisy Asian group my last night and at 11.00 I told them to be quiet. Their tour leaders need to tell them that they need to be respectful of other guests and not yell up and down the corridors, open and slam doors and talk in very loud voices. I mentioned this to the young man on reception and he said he would pass it on and also said I could have rung reception to deal with it, but still, it should not have happened in the first place. Apart from that I found the staff, the food and the hotel to be very pleasant and welcoming.
